If they are congregating to promote hate and bigotry then going to attack and shame them is a wise move, even if they try to pretend their congregation is for something positive. An easy we to tell is that it is pretending to be positive is if the 'celebration' is a reaction to a group that has been discriminated against trying to celebrate who they are.

Don't really have a go to movie. Pretty much anything I've seen a bunch of time like the original Star Wars trilogy, Constantine, Lord of the Rings, any of the Alien movies, Predator, any Mel Brooks movie, MCU movies, and a whole lot more.

Yes, lost of excellent wordplay and context based punchlines. Absolute comedy gold.

Big tiddy moth girl is Shakespeare level humor.

Reading is better than the flashing lights of a TV which are better than doing physical activity for most people. Reading is still mentally stimulating, and can keep someone's mind going when they are trying to relax. For neurotypical people, nothing is better than any of those things, which is the audience for those websites.

For neurodivergent people those activities have very different impacts on our ability to be able to sleep, and nothing often opens the floodgates of random thoughts. For me, a movie I have seen a lot of times before is the best way to fall asleep because it doesn't keep me paying a lot of attention and keeps my mind from wandering to other things. That's why I have shows like Futurama to wind down with.

Nope, the poop thing was only entertaining as long as the one poster who started it kept it alive. The beans and jeans thing were both funny for a couple of weeks.

This moth thing is better than all of those combined. So many clever moth based memes expanding beyond the starting moth loves lamps starting point.

I don’t want to drink at a Nazi bar, but I’m glad the Nazi bar exists, because it gives the Nazis somewhere to go that’s isolated and away from everyone else.

What a terrible opinion to have.

They did think it through.

The money they make from advertising is the same whether you show up on time or not. I'm pretty sure reserved seating nets them more concession stand income as people know they have 'extra' time to buy something and still get the seat they wanted.

The really frustrating thing back when the ads were first being shoved in was not having a consistent amount of ad time, so guessing the real start time was a pain.

To start with your first sentence is stupid and it goes downhill from there. Pride moth exists as a response to being silenced and prosecuted for centuries. Straight people don't need an event to show they deserve to exist because they already run the show and having an event to celebrate as a counter to pride month is just rubbing in historical oppression. Crashing each other's events is nowhere near the same thing due to context.

A hetero celebration event during pride month is like having a confederate celebration on Juneteenth.

That is why you are being downvoted, and nobody else explained because odds are you won't understand and just dig your heels in deeper.

That is because the algorithm has an expected output that can be tested and verified for accuracy since it works consistently every time. If there appears to be inconsistency, it is a design flaw in the algorithm.

MY biggest disappointment with how AI is being implemented is the inability to incorporate context specific execution if small programs to emulate things like calculators and chess programs. Like why does it doe the hard mode approach to literally everything? When asked to do math why doesn't it execute something that emulates a calculator?

There is one user from another instance that I have Blocked, but their comments still show up in posts. I have tried unblocking and blocking them again, and their posts are hidden on their profile when blocked. Examples below are seeing their comment, clicking on their name, and seeing that they are already blocked. This is the only user where this is the case, and I've blocked their name and instance (not lemmy.world) but can provide it on request.

I'm sick and it is still snowing so I didn't do the whole patio, but did scoop two paths for the dogs to reach some grass. Can't do one because they will assume the other side would have been better and just hold it in.

Will need to redo them in a few hours when the dogs are ready to go again.
