I do understand and it does not matter how you phrase it for those types of people. Pretending that it could have been said the 'right' way is a waste of time because, as you said, they consider even asking to be facilitating conflict.

There are also good managers out there, they just aren't as memorable as the ones who make everything into drama. The good ones also tend to be driven to other jobs because of the jerk managers...

What about a burger on toasted bread slices?

Example of Sonic burger which is on Texas Toast slices instead of a bun

Yes, I love regular M&Ms more than peanut M&Ms and the peanut ones are pretty awesome.

Also Republicans as a whole since they were beating the drum for a border wall well before Trump ever joined their party.

"What is the purpose of this meeting and why do I need to be included" is a perfectly polite series of words to use. The wording matters far less than the tone of voice.

I vastly prefer clear and direct questions over the reply that sounds passive aggressive from the very beginning.

That just encourages Repiblicans who thrive on the suffering of children.

Check out the Sexual assault and misconduct allegations section for an overview. With how hard it is to get convictions, believing multiple accusers who have allegations across a long period of time has to be good enough. Especially when they are willing to be identified, knowing they will get punished for speaking up.

There is no single point of failure.

If one instance goes down they don't take the whole thing with it. If one instance gets taken over by corporate interests, it does not take all the other instances with it.

If a community on sweatyballs.social is dogshit, someone can create the same named community on poopfed.io as a replacement. The site administrator of sweatyballs.social can't do anything about that.

This can also be a negative to some degree, but being able to block and defederate allow for mitigating those risks.

There is one user from another instance that I have Blocked, but their comments still show up in posts. I have tried unblocking and blocking them again, and their posts are hidden on their profile when blocked. Examples below are seeing their comment, clicking on their name, and seeing that they are already blocked. This is the only user where this is the case, and I've blocked their name and instance (not lemmy.world) but can provide it on request.

I'm sick and it is still snowing so I didn't do the whole patio, but did scoop two paths for the dogs to reach some grass. Can't do one because they will assume the other side would have been better and just hold it in.

Will need to redo them in a few hours when the dogs are ready to go again.
