Maybe try to get repair parts on ebay? Don't have too much experience with plastic components braking down, but I understand the planned obsolescence frustration. Mostly around phones, in my case.
But yes, I hate all of this planned obsolescence. I have an ASUS C100P that reached end of life several years ago, so I need a new operating system. It was cheap and has a good aluminum chassis and good other hardware, but I need an up to date OS. I think maybe with enough effort Arch Linux ARM might be able to work, but would like a more polished OS.
I am still amazed how Liberals I knew thought I was crazy saying that Dems aren't reluctantly having to embrace right-wing positions because that was the only way they would be elected and pointing out that if a progressive was becoming popular the party would undermine them rather than embrace that they could finally do the LGBTQ rights/abortion rights/taxing the rich/healthcare/etc. that the Dems always wanted to do, but just unfortunately couldn't. I should have moved on after my Bernie phase, but I am still amazed that liberals supposedly live in this reality.
eh, pretty much. You should try beer cheese soup. Bet you'd never guess what the two main ingredients are.
I think it is. The bottle I got is smoother than anything I have had at a comparable price point. Not that I am a real rum connoisseur.
My ex-girlfriend was able to go and live in Cuba for a few months on some educational visa (only legal way to go to Cuba as a USian, as far as I am aware) and she swore by how much better Cuban rum was.
What? But I was repeatedly told there could only be one!
I think a small amount for personal use (1 bottle) is still allowed, but I actually didn't have to go through customs returning to the US.
