Went there for work, but got some real Cuban rum while there along with some good mole paste. So I am drinking the real Cuba Libre and making some tofu mole tonight. Feeling pretty good right now. What are y'all up to?

It is just Havana Club. I should have looked out for Cuban rum in shops while I was there. I forgot and only started looking for Cuban rum in the airport no duty store, so I likely really overpaid.

Havana Club is great rum, man. I've wanted to try Eminente, but I also mostly just want to hold on to that cool bottle!

They didn't inspect you on the way in? I don't think you can bring that anymore.

I think a small amount for personal use (1 bottle) is still allowed, but I actually didn't have to go through customs returning to the US.

Nah, I am pretty sure that isn't allowed anymore. Trump reversed that Obama policy and Biden never went back to it, unfortunately.
