I realized they were in the right age group when I looked the song up, but listening to that to be funny seemed at odds with the way they looked. They're probably not that much older than me, but they looked like frail old people to me. It was a whole ordeal to get her in the truck.

My only experiences with Ketamine were high doses that make you unconscious. I was trapped in a really shitty situation mentally and physically at the time. My self hate and baggage had me unable to even think about how to get out. A handful of high dose K experiences later and I was on the way to fixing things. The most positive drug experiences of my life.

I'm want to try it at more reasonable doses for depression, but last I looked those online clinics were super expensive.

I came out of the supermarket the other day and there was a lifted pickup truck blasting the South Park song, "Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo". I can't see anyone sitting in the driver's seat of the truck, so I assumed it was someone IRL trolling or something.

I get around the other side and a 50ish man is helping a woman climb into the stupid monster truck. I guess this couple earnestly likes listening to South Park music?

I can feel withdrawal in about 12 hours, but it's pretty mild until 24 and peaks at 48-56.

I watched this video on "legal highs", where he takes amanita(among other things). It's a good video, but it does suffer from the age old issue of not having useful language to describe drug effects.

I have a theory that you need to be a very insecure person to continue accumulating money once you have more than you and your family could ever spend. It explains why billionaires aren't happy being billionaires, they need to be famous as well. Elon can't be happy being the richest man in the world, he needs to be a right wing thought leader, he needs to be the memelord.

Same shit for famous insecure people. The Rock can't be happy being rich and one of the most famous people in the world, now he needs to be a business leader. Jerry Seinfeld can't be happy being a billionaire and famous comedian, he needs to be a successful filmmaker. Kanye can't just be an artist and rich, he needs to run for president.

Gave my friends some phone calls and told them I love them cause they are my friends. It was weird cause one of them thought i was gonna do something bad, and it made me realize that maybe I should ease into something like that next time.

That's wonderful. I need to do more of that with my family

At my volunteering gig, I got into an argument with this boomer who was constantly trying to boss me around and act like I had some ulterior motive for volunteering. She wasn't anyone's boss, but she's been volunteering there for ages, so she has this attitude that she's above me. Still, I should have just let it go. They didn't text me to give me a schedule, so I guess that's over.

I was mainly doing the volunteer work to kind of practice for working again, since I've been out of the workforce a long time. I'm kind of thinking that I should just enjoy the free time I have left before I have to rejoin the grind of wage labor.

I'm making good progress on running. I've run almost 60 miles so far this month, and broke my personal record for a 10k by a fair amount. I'm going to take it a little easier next week because I definitely overtrained.

Beanis Horn has been used by the people of the Hexbear region for its aphrodisiac effects for over 4 years

I found the blog randomly when searching for info about a trail near me. I'm not sure if I should post it for opsec reasons, but it apparently wasn't the original source of that story anyway.

I only do hotels when I visit my family for holidays, but the ones I stay at have been way more expensive than they were 5 years ago.

They're also worse quality. My biggest gripe is that they put the AC on a motion sensor, so it stops working when you go to sleep. I'd be fine with it if the room stayed cool, but when you're on a higher floor it the heat rises. Climate control used the be the most basic feature of a hotel room.

It's all of the grift/graft reasons other people have written, but there are also a type of American that reads only this shit. They probably don't even read them, they just stack up until they die and their kids have to figure out what to do with them.

My partner volunteers at a charity thrift shop in the book section. They sometimes get shipments of books that were rejected by Goodwill because they're unmarketable. They get this kind of right wing political slop, which ends up in a dumpster.
