Brood war was all about micro in battles it was super fun. Balancing battle with production was extremely satisfying and difficult

I always mask in busy places and I get a lot of dirty glares. Last time it was worse bc I had a bad cold and had to fly and I was just thinking to myself bro this is for your benefit...

It's such a weird hangup, like let people mask who cares

Its just a lack of executive function you probably have ADHD

When you help your friends you get the dopamine hit which lets you hyperfocus

Lack of access to healthcare / nutrition

If you broke these stats out by racial group I am sure the numbers would be shocking. There's probably parts of the south where black infant mortality rivals Syria or something

Edit:

Low birth weight is the biggest driver and suggests nutrition, maternal complications tie to lack of healthcare, congenital malformations suggest environmental racism is also a factor at play here

Edit2: looking around a bit I wasn't too far off, the worst published counties in Alabama and Mississippi are at 15-16 which is just a hair shy of Syria's 16.5

And those are the published stats, I am sure the worst counties don't publish bc they don't even have the infrastructure for collecting

Buh-bye (www.thedailybeast.com)

a-little-trolling Elon folks he's no good. This business with the dogs, and the cheese hat, it was very bad, very offensive. Some people say I like Elon, I never liked Elon, he begs like a dog for attention. Disgraceful!

I was flame weeding next to a garden bed adjacent to my house and accidentally caught some dried thyme that was growing all around the perimeter. Easily a 20 foot ring. It went from 0 to 60 in seconds. Like if you've ever lit a dry Christmas tree it was like that. I ran and got the hose which was luckily only 30 feet away, but not hooked up, so I had to hook it up and turn it on which when you are flooded with stress hormones is really fucking hard.

I and was able to put it out but it was really fucking scary. My hands are still shaking 10 mins later from the adrenaline.

I am proud of myself for staying calm and focused and doing what had to be done in the moment but uh... Holy shit comrades

For Mr Musk's sake I hope his neighbor mentioned in the article here has good opsec and isn't able to be found via something like a simple Google search and the name in the town from the article!

The takes are hot, lets talk about them!

Recent advances in biotechnology now provide a pathway to producing living human bodies without the neural components that allow us to think, be aware, or feel pain. Many will find this possibility disturbing, but if researchers and policymakers can find a way to pull these technologies together, we may one day be able to create “spare” bodies, both human and nonhuman.

baseball-crank

I'm likely going to be relocating soon to a major city with sports teams and am thinking about taking my son to his first baseball game this spring. He has shown interest so I think he will like it. He's also on the spectrum with ADHD and for some folks like that baseball really hits a certain way lol, hoping it might do that for him. If it does we might even get a half season or something

I was a casual enjoyer many many years ago but haven't followed mlb or any sport really in the past decade or so. Like I know who ohtahni is and that's about it.

Whats the current state of the league? What are the big story lines? Who is on the way up and who is on the way down, what are the teams to watch and the names to know?
