This post isn't convincing because it needs to actually sound plausible.

mystery-emote :????????????????

And let's say this cosmic eldritch force will pretty much do the same to any further attempts to create an "Israel". So they pretty much rip Israel out of existence, with the "International community" being unable to do anything to preserve or support Israel.

Do you think the "international community" will just shrug their shoulders and move on, because let's be honest there's nothing they can actually do against some cosmic metaphysical eldritch force beyond their realm of comprehension...

or... do you think they'll band together and do whatever they can to create another "Israel" despite what I said above? And attempting to do so will pretty much destroy them, but for them it'll be worth it because the very existence of an "Israel" is more important than their self-preservation; they straight up can not live in a world without "Israel"'s existence.

In addition, what do you think the U.S. will do? Do you think they're going to try fucking airstriking Cthulhu or something? Or let's say, they snap their fingers and proxies appear out of nowhere, they spawn in pre-armed and pre-trained, and they immediately do a regime change on Cthulhu or something. Or Idk something something dollar hegemony.

After the initial high of Iran's missile strikes from yesterday wore off, I don't know if it's healthy to be following events as they unfold. Looks like things are continuing to escalate? So much going on.

Personally I still feel slightly ill.

Meanwhile in Gaza:

CW for combat footage, in the link, but it's Zionazis eating shit.

https://english.almayadeen.net/news/politics/al-qassam-brigades-target-israeli-tanks--vehicles-in-gaza

The military wing of Hamas, al-Qassam Brigades, released new combat footage documenting targeted operations as part of its ongoing campaign titled David’s Stones, including a direct strike on an Israeli Merkava tank in southern Khan Younis.

According to the footage, fighters used a Yassin-105 anti-tank shell to target the tank near Abu Sharakh junction, amid continued confrontations with Israeli occupation forces along various axes of incursion. The video also showed mortar attacks on Israeli troop concentrations in multiple areas of Gaza.

Al-Qassam also revealed footage of a complex ambush carried out in al-Atatra, Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza. The operation targeted an Israeli unit barricaded inside a house, striking the site with a TBG shell, reportedly causing casualties among the Israeli force.

In the same engagement, Resistance fighters also hit another Merkava tank with a Yassin-105 and detonated an IED under a D9 bulldozer, destroying its turret and injuring its crew.

Separately, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, al-Quds Brigades, published footage of their own operation north of Khan Younis, where an Israeli military vehicle was blown up using an IED assembled from repurposed remnants of Israeli weaponry.

Al-Quds Brigades also confirmed they had detonated a minefield targeting an Israeli sapper unit east of Khan Younis on Thursday, adding to the growing number of tactical strikes against advancing occupation forces.

The Palestinian Resistance movement stressed that "Israel’s" escalating military campaign is "only deepening its losses and pushing its captives further into the unknown." Hamas reiterated that "there is no solution except through a comprehensive agreement, a path Netanyahu continues to reject."

Dismissing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s rhetoric of "absolute victory" as a "misleading illusion," Hamas declared that "the war Netanyahu sought to make endless has become a daily burden," warning that his insistence on prolonging the aggression would ultimately "mark the end of his political and personal career."

These statements follow reports by Israeli media that 12 Israeli soldiers were evacuated from Khan Younis in southern Gaza after a booby-trapped building they were in exploded during an operation.

Most of the injured personnel are reportedly members of elite military units.

Oh shit it's begun.

Would you consider the feeling of uncertainty be preferable to despair and frustration?

Either way I'm still feeling like my insides are about to melt.

The state of the world haunts the back of my mind every day. I can never push it out.

I can feel brief moments of joy, but I can't say I'm ever happy, not while the world is like this.

Maybe that very world is a dystopia where the U.S.'s iron grip is so solidified that it becomes clear that nothing can ever challenge it, so no one has any expectations that things "could" get better anymore. The same world where the unbreakable, invincible Israeli empire is established in the middle east and maybe beyond. Constant anxiety is replaced by a feeling of constant dread and sadness, as "U.S.-realism" or "colonial-realism" "genocide-realism" becomes the law of reality.

At that point, the only real option is to "escape" from this hellhole.

IOF issuing some untypically... stoic statements? definitely a more grim tone

If you were to go by the current mood in this megathread so far, you'd expect the IOF to be hooting and hollering in victory right now.

I don't want to trivialize any of this by saying something so incredibly cringe, but I wish there were irl spoilers I can read just so I know what the outcome's going to be. All this constant anxiety over the state of the world is too fucking much.

On another note: Disney+? I'm pretty sure the only thing Israelis watch for entertainment are footage of Palestinian children being killed.

The heavy toll of Israel’s war on Gaza has left Israelis struggling with the cost-of-living squeeze, amid increased taxes and austerity measures, a new report by an American news outlet says.

Bloomberg reported that Israelis “face a 40-billion-shekel ($11-billion) war bill”, this year.

Last year, Israel borrowed over 260 billion shekels in international and domestic markets, almost a record for the entity. That sent its budget deficit soaring to 7.7% of gross domestic product.

Amid a target deficit of around 4.5% for 2025 and efforts to bolster the Israeli administration's finances through the increase in taxes and other fiscal measures, the report said life in the occupied territories will be even costlier.

The cost-of-living squeeze has caused widespread concern among households over how much harder things are getting.

Sharon Levin, a spokeswoman for Pa’amonim, a non-profit organization that provides guidance to households, said “Over the past weeks, the number of families approaching us has more than doubled.”

“It will cost us more than 17,000 shekels a year,” Adi Einbinder, a working mother of three with a husband in hi-tech, said on a recent radio show.

At 40 years old, Einbinder added, she and her husband are forced to lean on their parents. “We’re supposed to be helping them right now. We feel trampled.”

The report warned that more taxes, including a 1% rise in value-added tax, less disposable income and higher food, water and electricity bills “will likely deepen social and political divides.”

As the austerity measures start to bite, the report said more skilled Israeli workers may opt to leave the occupied Palestinian territories. The numbers of those emigrating have doubled in the past two years, according to official data.

Israel’s war on Gaza and the ensuing multi-front conflict with regional resistance forces harmed Israel’s $525 billion economy, the report said, as “construction and tourism have slumped and almost all industries have experienced labor shortages with so many people being called up for reserve duty.”

It is estimated "that GDP rose just 0.4% last year, making Israel one of the slowing-growing developed economies.”

Still, Bloomberg said the regime’s “military spending is on a long-term upward trajectory”, with Tel Aviv planning to increase the military budget by an estimated annual minimum of 20 billion shekels, 1% of gross domestic product, over a decade.

Israel launched a genocidal war on Gaza on October 7, 2023 after the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas waged the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Flood against the occupying entity in response to the Israeli regime's decades-long campaign of bloodletting and devastation against Palestinians.

The regime’s bloody onslaught on Gaza has so far killed at least 45,805 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured more than 109,064 others. Thousands more are also missing and presumed dead under rubble.

I mean those savage Europeans were already killing each other on a daily basis anyways. Think of all the wars they would constantly start, and also their sacrificial rituals where they burned each other at the stake. If anything the Mongols would have brought some semblance of peace and order to Europe.
