Give me one united front that didn't end in thousands of murdered communists. There's no common ground with the bourgeoisie, ever. These countries being strong opponents to the imperialist force of the USA shouldn't be an excuse for communist parties to stray away from their revolutionary goal. Sure, maybe don't start a revolution in the case that your country is actively defending against an imperialist war, but revolutionary action and uncompromising theory should never stop in the hope that the capitalists will respect a common interest. Their real enemy is and will always be the working class.

  1. Most Steam games are playable out of the box nowadays thanks to proton, you should check ProtonDB just in case before buying games though. Not sure about the rest, but I think there are some decent image editing software if you do some research, I usually just use GIMP in the rare occasion I want to edit something more complex than drawing a red circle around something.
  2. Most of your files should be ok after you set up the OS and mount your drive correctly. Programs should be installed again from the start though.
  3. They just show up on boot, after shutdown they dissappear.

Question is "What temperature do you set your A/C heat to?"

72-76 (night day) in summer 63-65/68 (night day) in winter. I know people are doing much more extreme and we should. Energy is a global resource. The less we all use the demand goes down and Russia inevitably losses money. But just like in the Iraqi war (I am aware it shouldn't have happened or should during first gulf war) we saw SUVs with "I support the troops.". Bullshit you do get a smaller car you high. Now we'll have gas guzzlers with Ukrainian flags or "Puck Futin" on the.. The I'll buy a number sticker but not do anything slightly uncomfortable.

For this who want to save more you can cool your house even further during summer nights and be comfortable at higher temps during day. And in winter layers and a heating blanket/throw really do the trick. Heating blanket with a down comforter on top and you'll be roasting.

Not sure if a reference to mao-wave but cool in any case

Yesterday streets all over Greece as well as other countries too flooded with people to fight for justice for the 57 lives that were lost in an "accident" that workers were warning against for years. No safety measure was working, many of them not implemented at all, and it was then pinned on the human error of just one person. Recently it was uncovered that 30 of those people did not die from the crash, but from the chemical explosion and fire that erupted afterwards, resulting from the illegal substance carried by a passenger train, something that is still being denied by the government. This is all a result of many different governments over the years privatizing and selling out the public train system to capitalists.

Since then, no justice has been seen despite the huge public support for it, instead the state is actively trying to hide evidence and slow down judicial processes.

Several politicians and "journalists" had come out condemning the upcoming protests, and saying that justice is served in the courtroom and not in the streets. The people have answered and proved they won't forget this until we see them behind bars.

I tried to find a Pravda referencing this view on homosexuality being the root of fascism but I couldn't find it, and it really makes zero sense for this to be ever said by a communist party

In light of recent events which have really been blown way out of proportion, I would like to suggest a system to help us reach democratic decisions for these kinds of things, since for me at least, one of the most highlighted issues out of this was the fact that users were completely in the dark about the problems until they were simply notified about the decisions taken to solve them.

My idea is to initially have a normal post where the problem is described in detail and the admin/mod team can possibly suggest a course of action a priori, and discussion is then made where the users express their opinions on the stated problem and course of action if there is one, along with their suggested solutions.

Then the post gets locked and it enters a voting stage, where a group of actions can be voted upon, preferably with Yes/No answers, and a deadline for this stage to end.

Then the results can be viewed by everyone, and the admin/mod team can decide how to move forward.

I realize that this complicates administration, but I hope that implementing such a system will help make this easier to do compared with trying to reach a consensus by discussion alone.

Obviously this should mainly affect meaningful changes to the site, we don't need to make a whole voting process in order to rename a couple of emojis.

There's this leftist influencer called dantethehater who usually has some pretty good takes and some nice content on China.

Lately he was calling for everyone to vote Kamala by the logic that organizing will be easier under the Dems. Critically endorsing a neoliberal government that funds genocide is already cringe enough but at least it had a reasoning behind it.

Now he is making posts referencing the fact that the Greens could not have possibly "stolen" the election based on their numbers, and being sarcastic about it saying that everyone who voted them is "loudly irrelevant". That's mega LIB shit, he isn't even trying to blame this on the Dems yet.
