Not really, though I can understand a fair bit. I always thought it was called "el acento". Now I see that it is also commonly called tilde :)

OK interesting. I didn't know.

That's not a tilde.

Jesus fucking Christ. Fuck all of these assholes.

The only silver lining is US refugees being shot at the Canadian border.

Has anyone on the right considered that "let these demon-rat run cities suffer the the consequences of their soft on illegals policies"? Like, why spend millions on "helping" these obviously ungrateful cities?

Meh. You say obsolete, I say we are simply retvrning to tradition!

All the suffering and death that Israel has caused for decades, is purely the result of its insulation from consequences. If Israel had to face any real resistance to its behavior, it would be forced to negotiate in good faith like a normal country.

This weekend, sure. However, protests like what are happening in LA are different. Rather than just being symbolic or performative, they are actually disrupting ICE activity. Every community needs to follow LAs example and protect their neighbors.

Two uses were too many.

I don't hate it, but I don't like it either. Unless I'm doing something very physical, I don't really get thirsty. If I do drink water, it's almost always carbonated since I actually enjoy it.

You are right, but also data isn't necessarily evidence.

Coworker just picked up this crazy thing. It's a .22 imported from the Philippines.

I just went down to our local lib demonstration. All I could really feel was depressed. All those people waving signs but I wonder how many are willing to do anything more than that? Shit most of them were pretty old, tbh. I approached some people I clocked as comrades but I was very awkward and we didn't have a conversation.

I guess I don't really have a question here. Just feel like everybody has identified (some of) the problems, but have totally misidentified the solutions. Will these protests ever accomplish anything? Can we radicalize the protestors without them having to get beaten by cops? Or is that what it will take?

I have something very strange happening. I have a seedbox and I did a manual search/download from Radarr, which initiates the download in qBittorrent as expected. The file begins downloading, and at some point before completion it just disappears completely. The qbit logs just say "torrent removed" without further explanation. I do have qbit set to remove torrents after they hit a defined ratio, but that definitely isn't happening here. Anyone seen this behavior before?

What is going on with Hexbear federation? I can still only see Hexbear posts from before the domain kerfluffle. Is lemmy.ml no longer federated with Hexbear?

Hi chapo-bears. Can someone please help me? I am in desperate need of a silhouette-style shooting target, in the shape of a certain roman saluter. My image editing skills are beyond rusty, but I think a lot of people would enjoy having such a thing.

I've been looking at plate carriers lately but I don't know much about them. I have some level 4 plates I bought a few years ago. Would like to go the milsurp route to save some coin if I can. Anyone want to chime in with opinions or examples of setups they're happy with?

We (two people) are moving from the west coast USA to the east coast soon. I'm looking for ideas on how to do this as cheaply as possible. Renting a uhaul looks like about $5k before gas costs. Seems like a lot. Anyone have creative ideas?

I'm looking at my client, and have a few torrents that are between 99 and 99.8% finished and have been stuck like that for weeks. Anyone know of a good tool, AI or otherwise, that can "fill in" the missing bits? Wouldn't that be cool?

Please help if you can!

I am running two basically identical Nextcloud instances. They were both installed with Yunohost. They both are on NC version 29.0.7 (latest available for Yunohost). One is on a computer at my house for personal use, one is on a VPS for my job. Just today I noticed that I can no longer edit any contacts at all on the one for work. My personal instance I can still edit contacts. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Please suggest somewhere else I should post this. I took an OTA update last night for Lineage4microG and my OnePlus8T just bootlooped. I tried downloading and manually side loading both the most recent and previous versions, but they keep failing with a kInstallDeviceOpenError. I am desperate to get back into my device without wiping the data.

Lmao
