replying to you so that this reply can have less upbears than your comment

But Mr. Stubb’s country understands the peril of peace negotiations for Ukraine perhaps better than any other. After wars with the Soviet Union in the 1940s, Finland gave up land to Moscow, agreed to neutrality and accepted limits on its military, remaining under the Kremlin’s thumb to some degree for decades.

I wonder which wars Finland fought with the Soviet Union in the 1940s

32F is 0C, from there every 9F is 5C. Increase the digit on the left, decrease the digit on the right for every 5°C. So 41F=5C, 50F=10C, 59F=15C, etc. Then I approximate each 2 degrees F as 1 degree C, so for example if it is 13°C outside, than is close to 15°C, which is 59°C, and I subtract 4, which gives me 55°F. This is just how I do it, not sure if it helps.

Someone here suggested multiplying by 2, add 32, and someone else said multiply by 2, add 30. I don't know if this complicates it more, but what you can do is multiply by 2, add 32, and subtract 2 times the first digit, assuming that the number is 2 digits. So for example, let's say the temperature is -21°C. Multiply by 2, and you get -42, add 32, that is -10, and then subtract 2(-2), and that's -6°F.

For converting from F to C, you could adapt this method. Subtract 32, divide by 2, and add the first digit of the answer rounded to the closest tens place. So if we have 83°F, we subtract 32 to get 51, divide by 2 and that's 25.5, add 3 and that's 28.5°C.

Also sometimes some numbers are easy to convert, such as -40°, and there is also that 3.9°C=39°F, although these probably aren't that useful.

It's hilarious how we're having yet another struggle session about beanis

But yeah I think a lot of problems on this site could be solved by having a filter, but until then a seperate comm seems like a good idea, but let's name it beanis buddies because of this bit idea

At first I thought that this had been already posted to hexbear, but I think it is a different one. https://hexbear.net/post/2733654

I'm pretty sure that map is trying to warn us about climate change. Also why does amerikkka always have 11 stripes in every ai slop thing, looks like we're going to rewrite history, which 2 kkkolonies should we erase?

How are women treated in the DPRK? What about healthcare for women? Is abortion legal? And on healthcare in general, is it free? Are there limitations on the jobs that women do, possibly because of cultural norms? How about representation in the legislatures?

Does the dprk focus on science, and are they making innovations that perhaps the west does not know of? What about math, are there mathematicians in the DPRK and what do they research.

What about technology? Do they still use redstar os or is there a new one, or do they use western systems? Also do they have something like TikTok?

And others have asked this but what about music? A lot of music I can find from the dprk is genuinely really good but do they make music that isn't about their country?

I know that beanis became popular here because of the badposting comm, but did the badposting community invent beanis? There are a few comments from a long time ago mentioning beanis, but beanis posting seems to have started in badposting, and what I am more curious about is the emoji beanis Was the emoji created by hexbear or somewhere else? Because I'm pretty sure I saw beanis out in the wild, on instagram, not too long ago. If I remember correctly, it was a screenshot of a twitter post that had something to do with beans and the avatar was literally :beanis: and I can't figure out where this originated from.
