Manchmal soll Deutschland halt echt verrecken. =.=

Sie sind nicht dasselbe, wenn du jüdische Menschen für den Genozid verantwortlich machst. Sie sind dasselbe, wenn du es wagst, Israel zu kritisieren. /s

I agree it's good writing. I don't think I agree with the concept of who someone "really is" apart from what they do.

Now, we will never know what kind of being he truly is.

He always was a tool for fascists. That's the kind of being he ever was.

The title is a reference to the line "how long can the empire's patience be tested" from the imperial propaganda channels in the show. It's supposed to sound like state propaganda. I added a sarcasm tone-tag for clarity.

Explanation:

In the referenced episode, the empire intentionally escalates a protest into a violent riot in order to deploy lethal force, resulting in a massacre. The screenshot is from a character's perspective who unknowingly helped in that escalation witnessing that massacre.

Bedenkt mich skeptisch, ob das auch wirklich lustig wird.

asking others, who are eligible, not to vote.

When did I do that? Show me a quote, or a link to a comment.

part of a fraud movement that hurts people as a goal and hides behind the pretense that it helps people

You mean the European Union? /j

The strawman was that anarchists supposedly care if you vote or not.

You're nothing bqt strawmanning anarchists.

Anarchists don't care if you vote or not. The problem starts when electoralism binds resources, e.g. when politically motivated people help out an electoral campaign by canvasing.

anarchists claiming their political disengagement

Equating political engagement with electoralism is the actual toxic thing.

Amazing and very neutral explanation for people who haven't heard any/both sides to the conflict.

Can't wait for the next episode.

Didn't watch it yet, as I'm only 2 episodes in and Idon't want to taint my first view too much.

But from what I've seen of the show, I understand how they reach this conclusion. And Jessie Gender usually has quite a good grasp on these things.

Edit: Kind reminder that this post is for sharing/discussing the video, not for dunking on the Netflix adaptation.

Edit2: Watched it now. Spoilers for the first 2 episodes and light spoilers for the rest of the live action show, season 1.
