Read "White House" as "Waffle House" here and was better for it.

While Israeli's are on the front lines of the expansion and preservation of western interests, and therefore actively committing unspeakable horrors reflexively, the rest of us living within the sphere of western hegemony should not feel like we are much better than the Israelis - while they are the weaponized vassal which is at the end of the chain of imperial brutality, we share in their machinery of imperial exploitation. We cannot distance and absolve ourselves from our own nation's participation in Israel's genocidal mania.

I write the above not to shield Israelis from the retributive justice that they deserve, but to thwart our base compulsions to escape into a focused criticism of Israel rather than organizing against our own governments which enable the acts of terror perpetrated directly by Israel. Even after the fall of Israel, if we do not confront our own ruling class by means of revolution, there will be another militant vassal of western empire in our future.

I've got a few personal archives of it going due to the same latent fear. Would be a terrible loss for knowledge production/agit-prop.

The astro-turfing of tank man that is glomming onto this is gross

We're aiming to normalize vigilante executions for so-called "straight" marriages. Honestly, that might have to be a stretch goal; we are confident that we can obtain death sentencing with due-process for this depraved act, at least.

Time to swap overlords, vassal state.

This just looks like a tutorial for a coding language that can't actually be used to compile anything into machine code.

This would be the programming equivalent of creating and learning a language that no one has ever spoken. Perhaps similar to learning a language spoken by a fictional population.

This is where I am and I also feel what @[email protected] has commented with below.

I am a person who can, at times, donate to people in need. But, at a point when it became overwhelming, I had to block the comm (and feel like shit for doing so) and prioritize in-person, local donations over the mutual aid comm. Here is my reasoning for what it is worth:

-The frustration of seeing people shouting over people who clearly need the financial assistance more. This is not to say people cannot ask for help without being in extreme danger, in fact, I don't want to imply that at all. The people "shouting" began to prey upon empathetic posters with guilt-trip, ALL CAPS, calls to action based on dubious urgency. They would aim to eclipse other members who contribute more to the site, who are less sensationalist, and I'd argue more at-risk. Can I prove any of this? Nah, of course not. But, any decent comrade shouldn't be trying to drown out his other comrades in need and they assuredly shouldn't resort to emotional manipulation to do so. We're all ~~socialists~~ liberals here, we're empathetic to a fault. There is no need to emotionally manipulate in order to be heard. Just tell us what you need and be respectful to your fellow comrades with your posting-etiquette. For this reason, I am in favor of limiting the intervals that members can ask for donations with new posts/threads. Bumping or whatever can occur within a mega thread or something. Updates on the situation should occur from the poster in the thread that already exists, otherwise. Spamming the comm with bump threads is just spam that, as others have stated, leads to an emotional-manipulation arms race that ultimately causes high-empathy, generous comrades to get overwhelmed and block the comm. It is my belief that a socialist legitimately in need would not resort to these tactics to begin with and so I am highly skeptical that the posts I'm referring to aren't just some fascist ass-clown abusing goodwill as a hobby and directly harming legitimate comrades in the process.

-The frustration of not being able to reliably, anonymously donate to the people I want to help. Many times when I attempted to help, the medium with which assistance was requested either failed to process because the institution itself thought I was being scammed and blocked in a paternalistic manner from the recipient or I became sketched out by the platform I was being asked to use. I don't intend to dox myself when I want to help people and I don't want to have comrades in need feel unheard because they are using platforms that don't allow for international/anonymous donations. For this reason I am in favor of a mod-sanctioned and organized method to reliably donate to the people in need of assistance.

-The frustration of seeing the communities limited resources be essentially on retainer for just a few charismatic members. Asking for an indefinite subsidy can only serve to limit available resources for comrades experiencing unexpected emergencies. I realize that this line of thought may lead to dubious, theatrical "emergencies" becoming widespread in an effort to "compete" for the communities resources; this is why there needs to be moderation that curtails such emotional manipulations. For this reason I am in favor of anyone seeking indefinite subsidy to be required to set up a patreon or GoFundMe for some basic transparency to protect other comrades in need. In this golden-age of scamming - I really fail to see why using a payment platform is undesirable for both people in need of help and those seeking to help. The concept of "anonymous charity on the internet" is painful naivety.

All I'm hearing is that HIV/AIDS came from Fort Detrick, too.

Plus losing the domain temporarily

Plus Axis of Resistance setbacks

The site will ebb and flow and that is fine.

Hey comrades-

Here's my set-up:

-Rowing Machine

-Pull up bar

-20 lbs kettlebell

-Yoga mat

-Access to (shared gym space) a cable machine, treadmills, and a weight-bench w/ free weights

I'm re-establishing a fitness routine - my previous routine was mostly body-weight exercises and long ass jogs. This time I'd like to make use of the equipment listed above.

One problem I'm having is that the equipment in my apartment seems to be hitting all the same muscle groups, so I don't really have a good "circuit" going. My abs and legs are getting obliterated while my upper body could be doing more. Suggestions on what exercises to add in to balance things out would be welcome.

Aside from that, I'm, not really looking to "get huge" or anything like that - honestly my primary motivator is weight loss. But, I'm fine with building some muscle along the way - so I'm looking for a pretty basic nutrition regiment that isn't super time consuming and won't break the bank, either. I'm considering doing the protein power smoothie thing but I'm also just looking for good advice on this because I'm mostly flying blind which will make me easy prey for online marketing regarding "Supplements". At the same time I don't want to just blindly not ingest a tried-and-true nutritional staple for fitness-minded people.

I am very comfortable in the kitchen so healthy recipes are definitely also welcome. I'm already eating as much broccoli and bok choy as is humanly possible. Though I do want to lose weight, I'm not looking for a keto diet - a life without carbs is not worth living. I'd prefer to intermittently fast if necessary.

So, I know Deepseek's debut is enough of a triumph in terms of technological progress and the western economy - however:

What if it was released as a mechanism to help people achieve class consciousness and avoid western censorship? What if Deepseek is intended to function as the seed of global revolution simply by getting the masses to engage with it to receive answers/information that align in their own class interests?

One example:

It is exhausting to engage with/debate liberal propaganda regarding the history of communism; can Deepseek do that for us, now?

A second:

The internet is becoming more and more censored and algorythm'd to hell by capitalist astroturf projects; is Deepseek an avenue to get access to information that isn't western-aligned?

A third:

It is notoriously difficult to communicate on even a linguistic level with the Chinese as a westerner to learn their experiences and perspectives; can Deepseek function as an ambassador of the Chinese working class to Western working classes?

Deepseek could be a major force to wield against many adversaries that have proved problematic for the international working class during the digital age:

Information Control/Propaganda
Time economy & Paywalls
Educational/Academic abuse
Geographic and Linguistic alienation

Has China given us an open-source tool that we can harness to technologically update organizing/agitprop in the West?
