Americans love personal freedom but think it's wrong to choose to stop eating.

Some will need to die during a revolution, but I'm not supporting revolution for vengeance, I want change. It's not that it makes me squeamish, or that I'm not angry enough, it's that killing only for retribution is wrong in my opinion.

Palestine: A Socialist Introduction ebook is free right now from Haymarket Books. I haven't started it yet, but a friend I trust recommended it.

Just moments after this, while still holding the baby, he was yelled at by a pro-palestinian protestor. He chased them down and called the Jewish protestor a "Terrorist sympathizer" and "human scum" for wanting Israel to end the siege on Gaza.

George Santos has previously pretended to be Jewish. Guess that persona is also a Zionist.

I was reading an article the other day about how judges get caught in serious misconduct and rarely get any punishment at all.

In one child sex trafficking case a judge burst into the jury room and told the jurors that God told him the defendant was innocent. He told the investigating committee that he didn't remember doing it due to a temporary medical problem. He got a public warning and continued conducting trials.

None of the staff at my local hospital wears masks anymore. Haven't seen a single staff member wearing a mask in several recent visits.

We're in a rural area with low COVID numbers, but it's still incredibly frustrating having my doctor look at me as if I'm weird for wearing a mask.

It's a fun game and it gets regular updates. I haven't played in a long time because it gets pretty grindy once you get closer to the end.

That's exactly what the shopkeepers privilege is, an immunity to false arrest claims when they have suspicion you've stolen something.

The two cases I found, the judges decided that refusing to show the receipt was enough to provide that suspicion

The customer sued the store civilly for false arrest after security held them.

If you called a cop they would say, "it's a civil issue" because cops don't do shit when businesses do crime to consumers.
