He is in a covenant marriage, which I just learned is a thing in 3 states. A covenant marriage is basically marriage without the option of no-fault divorce. His wife would have to attend marriage counseling and have a legal reason to divorce him, such as infidelity.

Our Flag Means Death is pretty awesome, though

I don't think that is what he's trying to do. I downloaded the app, all it does is allow you to make a profile and link it to your accounts on other platforms via authentication codes.

I don't see how this solves the problem of YouTube being able to delete/ban your account. You'd still lose your subscribers and your place within the recommendation algorithm. The subscribers/viewers are the valuable thing, not your identity, which you could already prove other ways.

Sure you can make a new channel and people could use this app to verify it is really you(if they bother to). But YouTube can still ban that account for ban evasion, and you've made it super easy for them to check that.

My disability benefits are going to be taken away. I was completely blindsided by this because I thought my exam went really well. I applied for reconsideration, but my understanding is that those rarely succeed. I can appeal that and get a court hearing, but I'd need to pay a lawyer and if I lose I'd have to pay back the benefits I get while waiting for the hearing.

Anyway, I'm trying to see it as a positive. I do want to work, so I'm just going to try and find something low stress, or at least something without a lot of interacting with people. It's going to be hard to find something because I haven't worked in 10 years and I didn't have a great work history before that either because I kept losing jobs due to my bipolar.

I wanted to try UPS because they were advertising for package handlers and it's one of the few union workplaces in my area, but they apparently stop hiring permanent positions before the holidays. So my next plan is to try to get a CDL license, because there's a lot of jobs around here that have the license as the only job requirement.

Despite all that, I'm doing pretty good. I'm more hopeful that I've been for a while. The benefits that I get are so small that I'd bring home triple at almost any job. It'll also feel good to not have to dodge questions about what I do for a living, or feel the judgements when I have to tell someone I'm on disability.

Google already has an ML model that detects this stuff, and they use it to scan everyone's private Google photos.

The must have classified and used a bunch of child porn to train the model and I have no problem with that, it's not generating new CP or abusing anyone. I'm more uncomfortable with them running all our photos through an AI model and sending the results to the US government and not telling the public.

Best part of being the vice president is you get to tap into the US strategic reserve of quaaludes

There was a post on Facebook that said, "What advice would you give to someone about to get married?" My partner's mom simply responded "DONT".

She's the kind of person who would post "GOOGLE DENTURE CREAM", and responds to pictures of her grandkids as if they were directly sent to her. So we have no idea if she's having marriage trouble, trying to be funny, or thought she was responding to a direct message.

The headlight housings cost a lot more than the windshields. On newer cars with LED or projectors they can be in the thousands.

Is Biden perfect? No. Is he the levee protecting us from the flood of fascism through 2028? Yes.

Vote like your life depends on it.
