The dentist I last saw told me it's more important to floss after every meal than brush. He was saying that stuck bits of food in your teeth trap bacteria and start cavities. He also advised against eating soft dry foods that get packed into your teeth, like crackers, for the same reason.
I don't know how true it is, but it makes sense to me given that cavities seem to happen most often in the places that food gets trapped.
I stopped using the apps because none support the Hexbear emoji picker. I just use the PWA now(install through the menu in your browser). The only thing I miss is being able to configure individual font sizes.
You'd be surprised at how often that doesn't protect people.
CW Drug use (is a cw necessary for this?)
You start on pills, smoking or snorting, but then tolerance grows and your money dries up. Your fear of needles gets rapidly outweighed by your tolerance and withdrawal. Shooting it is much more cost effective, especially with powder heroin that doesn't smoke well.
I never met a single person who started shooting it. I started because one time I hustled all day to get money for some, snorted it all and only felt less bad.
For me it's torturous sometimes because I'll hear 5 seconds of a song in a grocery store or something, and the rest of the day I'm listening to a Celene Dion song on repeat.
Attack the idea that America is a democracy. If America isn't a democracy, it can't be reformed through democratic means.
Start with the obvious things, like the electoral college, misapportioning of senators(1 voter in Wyoming has the same representation in Senate as 59 people in California), the two party system. The power of money, lobbying, etc. Talk about the ideas that have long had broad support, but aren't being dealt with, taxing the rich and big corporations, like modest gun reforms, dealing with political corruption, codifying roe v wade, etc.
Edit: You won't get there in one discussion, but you can plant the seed.
His large pouch makes it tricky to use his back hips as an indicator, it sort of pulls the skin taut in that area. Even when he was quite obviously overweight he had a visible waist. But I checked his ribs and he definitely still has a solid layer of fat.
It never occured to me that boredom might be a factor. It's gotten colder here recently so he hasn't been spending much time in his catio. I do play with him at least once a day, but he's almost 14 years old and he's not as into it anymore. I'll get him some cat grass.
Thanks
Thanks, that's really useful. Based on that I'd say he's still got a ways to go
I was thinking "Mr. Pizza Hut" was some kind of mascot(which I guess gorby kinda is). It made sense to me because there was a Nintendo game with the Domino's mascot.
Prevent it by dealing with the source of the moisture, which is likely the shower if it's only in the bathroom. If you have a bathroom exhaust fan, use that during and after showers. Opening a window can help if you don't have one.
When my vent fan died last winter, I used a small dehumidifier because the moisture got really bad. Dehumidifiers take a fair bit of energy, but that energy is converted to heat, so it's basically the same as using electric heat.
I was always jealous of the kids with lunchables. As an adult I bought one of them and it was kind of nasty. It wasn't pizza, though
