Helldivers, the Omens of Tyranny have arrived! The Illuminate are back, and with them, a new wave of terror threatens our democracy. After nearly a century of relative peace, these technologically advanced enemies have returned. The Illuminate are conducting mysterious invasions across the galaxy, seizing our colonies and converting our citizens. These staging attacks and Illuminate disappearances are too precise and elusive to suggest a full-scale planetary conquest, but their methods and intentions remain a dire enigma.

A new faction Missing for almost a century, the Illuminate will challenge our recruits more than the other factions they have faced. They are advanced, highly-intelligent beings wielding powerful technology that appears to average citizens like a kind of dark magic.

The Illuminate have seemingly emerged from the singularity created by the destruction of Meridia. Even though we don’t know the true origin of the invasion, we have no choice now but to suppress three factions in the Galactic War.

New colony missions Omens of Tyranny is bringing the fight into the streets, with new mission areas inside Super Earth’s many colonies.

But it won’t be easy. Gone are the wide open spaces that Helldivers are accustomed to fighting in. Cities mean closer quarters, dark alleys, and forked paths where one wrong turn means meeting a horde of Voteless to liberate.

New FRV vehicle With all these new developments, there won't be time to take driver's ed. courses, Helldiver. A Fast Recon Vehicle “FRV” will now appear in the colonies, ready to plow through the Illuminate at high speed.

After 15 years of development, Caves of Qud 1.0 is out now. It's a sci-fantasy game inspired by settings like Dune and Gamma World.

It's a roguelike, but it has a pretty good UI for the genre. You can even play it on a Steam Deck—or so I've heard.

Its a pretty massive game with a ton of choices and options.

If thats not enough to bring you on board it has overwhelmingly positive reviews on steam

Also the devs are pretty cool

For the purpose of miniature wargaming, I’m considering getting into 3D printing because there are tons of amazing sculpts I’d love to get my hands on.

A couple of questions, though

I’ll admit I know next to nothing about 3D printing, but I could spend up to 300 eurodollars (or a bit more) on a 3D printer. Are there any key things to consider when picking up a printer? I don’t need the cheapest model, as price isn’t the main reason I’m getting into 3D printing. I care quite a bit about the quality of the finished models.

I live in an apartment, so does this even work logistically? I’m aware there are some health hazards with resin/3D printing—how serious should my concerns be about that? (That’s why I’m asking here and not in a 3D printing subreddit, where folks might be biased.)

Are there any recommended communities or YouTube channels for 3D printing? As I mentioned, I’ll be using this primarily for gaming miniatures and possibly wargaming terrain, not for other 3D-printable items.

I like pumpkin spice lattes (inb4 you shouldnt support Starbucks... you dont have to) . You can get them at local places (even vegan versions)

The bleeding from my throat stopped early in the morning, around 4:00 or so. I still went to my family doctor, who told me to take Mucosolvan (tastes terrible, but whatever). Doc told me as long as there are no other side effects it should heal by itself. I’m feeling pretty okay again—no pain or anything, just a slight discomfort in my throat.

If anything changes, I’ll go see a doctor again, but as it stands, I consider myself fine. No other side effects etc.

I had dinner about 3 hours ago and accidentally swallowed something hard that I felt in my throat. Afterward, my throat felt off, so I took a cough lozenge and later some flurbiprofen AL. Now, when I try to clear my throat, I notice blood in my spit. Initially, it was pinkish, but now it looks more like typical blood. I didn’t see what I swallowed—just that it was part of a potato dish.

I’m assuming it’s either a small wound or maybe something stuck. Any advice? I definitely feel something in my throat but can’t tell what it is.

The bleeding started about an hour ago, and I also feel very light stomach pain. (not sure if its connected to the rest) There isn’t a ton of blood in my spit, but enough to make me concerned (not enough to call an ambulance, I think).

I kind of dont wanna go to bed in case it gets worse and I miss it . But if it stays bad I need to see a doc in the morning.

Any input- tipps etc welcome

After 15 years of development, Caves of Qud 1.0 will be releasing on December 5th 2024 on Steam, itchio and GoG.

Caves of Qud is a retro-style roguelike RPG set in a weird, post-apocalyptic world. It got loads of customization, random environments, and a mix of sci-fi and fantasy elements for massive replayability.

I'm mostly asking on behalf of a comrade who is somewhat new to leftism. My own knowledge is only surface level, which is why I’m turning to Hexbear.

Could I get a rundown of the reasons for the conflict, for someone who only knows the basic Western position of "Russia bad" ? I’m not trying to say modern Russia is good, but there are reasons for this conflict, and it's much more nuanced than how it's presented in Western media, correct?

Any input from fellow Hexbears, sources, etc., is welcome. I truly appreciate the help.
