discovered evidence of water intrusion on the ceiling. looks like it's getting in at the wall above the window. sure enough the shingle siding is obv too old and the wall underneath is in bad shape too.

really didn't need this complication on my already tight budget. hoping homeowners insurance can cover my ass here (lol).

Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter has fully mapped the entire lunar surface, far side included! you can even look at the moon on Google maps/earth.

It's got a great soundtrack and pretty pleasant vibes. Probably be a mage or spellsword.

I just watched it and I gotta say it was pretty ok, maybe even good.

It's pacing is far more "TV" than Season 1 which feels like an 8 part film, and I was definitely bored through the middle 4 episodes, but overall I think it did have something to say that was well communicated.

Definitely pretty bleak though.

Infrastructure episode lets-fucking-go

These are the 2021 numbers. I have a printout of the 2022 numbers (china 546B, US 141B) but not a digital copy.

This page indicates that the 2023 numbers are out but I can't get access to the report. anyone got the new version of this chart?

Saudi is an adjective, Arabia is Saudi because it's ruled by the house of Saud. angery

Or give them away?

Does anyone know the one that goes:

no money for saving people we used it all for killing people

Thanks in advance

I'm learning classical guitar and will be looking for pieces to play as I work through my practice book.

Long read but a good analysis of how Chomsky is not as radical or marginalized as his reputation makes it seem.

I switched because my workplace has licenses for VSPro, and IT doesn't want us grabbing our own stuff off the internet.

What a disappointment! it's worse, and harder to use in almost every way. For the record I'm coding in Python and just need git integration and a debugger.

It's such a step back in design language and usability. Love to ignore free software in favor of its expensive "professional" counterpart shatter

Looks like car-centric infrastructure just got a whole lot less sustainable. sicko-biker
