RULES
- Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
- Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
- Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
- Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on [email protected]
- Keep it clean and SFW
- No solicitation such as ads, promotional content, spam, surveys etc.

The Boybands Have Won by Chumbawumba.
I love folk music and they hit the mark well
I've been listening to a lot of Marc Ribot's Ceramic Dog lately. "The Activist" really is a song for our times.
Metallica
Bob Dylan's "Infidel" and Tom Waits "Blue Valentine".
Slayer. The first 5 albums are nostalgic and make for great "summer music".
Podcasts. I almost never listen to music nowdays. I even canceled my Spotify subscribtion which was the only streaming service I've ever paid for.
I'm still obsessed with Zola Blood but be also been listening to Sohn, HAEVN, stuff like that. I sometimes also fall back on Charlie Cunningham and Blanco White, bit of SYML and Ghostly Kisses in there as well.
I'll definitely have to check those out. Thank you for sharing. Beginning to think I was the only person awake lol
