No mention of Komi Can't Communicate so far?

Also Aharen-san wa Hakarenai.

The most wholesome shows would probably be:

But if you don't mind just a little bit of drama or tears definitely I recommend those:

Some series not mentioned yet.

  • Tonikaku Kawaii
  • Aharen-san wa Hakarenai (more focused on comedy but has surprisingly good and wholesome romance parts)
  • The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity (upcoming)

  • the angel next door spoils me rotten
  • the dangers of my heart
  • sakura trick
  • kase-san
  • tamako love story
  • Kimi no kiss
  • itazura na kiss
  • (Gosick)
  • (how to raise a boring girlfriend)

As it's a movie I don't know if it counts but your name was great.

That secondary couple is pretty screwed up, though. I'd avoid if OP is looking for wholesome.

Weren't they just tsundere towards each other? How is that screwed up?

No, he's emotionally abusive and insults her to her face. She tries to slap him in the face. Then he's sweet to her. This is common in abusive relationships and is called the cycle of abuse. If you think that's a healthy relationship, please see a therapist.

Scene in question: https://youtu.be/TNyZJ8IF_d0

Here's what I see:

Cycle of abuse - tension, incident, reconciliation, calm

Trauma bonding

Ore Monogatari. I don't wanna spoil in case anyone hasn't seen it, but it gives as many cute, romantic vibes as possible with very little drama, and everyone's just a sweet bean.

My dress up darling, Horimiya, fruits basket.

I rewatch Horimiya and Dress Up Darling regularly. I'll admit that I was a little devastated when the Dress Up Darling manga ended.

I have a few:

  • Clannad
  • Fruits Basket
  • Your Name
  • Plastic Memories

and maybe Golden Time, though I can't quite remember how the romance went.

Golden Time is a fcking gold! There was a little bit of drama but overall I'd say it was quite wholesome.

Urotsukidōji, Legend of the Overfiend. It's a loving story about bringing humans and demons together through tentacles /s (seriously /s it is very much NSFW and violent)

That said the main couple are actually pretty wholesome. It's just everything else...

Blue Box is pretty wholesome, especially for a shounen romance.
