Nearly all of what historians have learned about one of the first Thanksgiving comes from a single eyewitness report: a letter written in December 1621 by Edward Winslow, one of the 100 or so people who sailed from England aboard the Mayflower in 1620 and founded Plymouth Colony in Massachusetts. French pronounce the "ou" as is "tour". But you do you.

In most American dialects and some British dialects, "bore" and "tour" rhyme (called the "pour-poor merger"). But in some dialects it may rhyme with "sewer"/"two-er" or have the same sound as in "blue" or even as in "were".
