[–] [email protected] 40 points 1 year ago (1 children)

To be fair to the Hungarians, they're what the Europeans would consider "invaders", if this person was really a retvrn freak, Hungary wouldn't exist.

Europe for the Basques, Indo-Europeans go home

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 year ago

Expel the Indo-European and Finnic-Uralic invaders back to the steppes from whence they came.

Is he giving the Danes control of Alsace-Lorraine and part of the balkans? Impeccable, no notes. Giving the Gauls all of Iberia? Sure that makes sense

[–] [email protected] 26 points 1 year ago (1 children)

When I conquer the world, I'm going to forcibly resettle everyone in Alsace-Lorraine to elsewhere, wall it off, and let it return to nature. If the little brats who have been killing each other for centuries over it can't play nice and share, nobody gets to play with it.

No, make it the new Israel. Would ensure world peace as both France and Germany insists on Israels right to exist

[–] [email protected] 13 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It would’ve made more sense than where we put it. I’ve been saying we should’ve turned Bavaria into Israel, but Alsace works too

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 year ago

Israel-lorraine

He doesnt know what any of these words mean. He probably just googled "traditional european tribes" and went with the first results.

The raven banner is only Danish insofar as all Scandinavians were called "Danes" as a metonym by the English for a bit. Theres a raven banner on the bayeux tapestry. It's not really a Danish symbol

Spain, Ireland, and chunks of England are "Celtic" because a linguistic and pottery culture that's not well defined in archeology from 3,000 years ago, but all the "-sexes" in the UK get to be vikings.

[–] [email protected] 30 points 1 year ago (1 children)

This is not going to end well for the Estonians.

[–] [email protected] 15 points 1 year ago (1 children)

or the Hungarians considering they're basically blocking off a Yugolsavia exclave from mega-Russia or whatever that's supposed to be.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 1 year ago

Surprisingly generous to the Sami people though. They've been assigned some very important mining areas that they have not actually laid claim to. Very woke.

[–] [email protected] 30 points 1 year ago

I appreciate the independent Sápmi somehow coexisting alongside the fucking raven banner pan-Germanic shit

[–] [email protected] 25 points 1 year ago

Yeah the 1500s were super woke and semetic.

Anybody here who can break 'em down? Guessing Ireland, Northern England, Spain and Portugal are the Celts. But the red part in south eastern England?

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I assumed it's supposed to be Anglo-Saxons but, like, it doesn't really fit with the territory they had before the Normans conquered them.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 1 year ago (1 children)

None of these tribe boundaries are from the same time period, by the time the Hungarians crossed the Carpathians you already had Al-Andalus covering all of Iberia

[–] [email protected] 14 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

This map is the kinda thing you make when your only understanding of history comes from 4X games.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 1 year ago

I was unaware the Basque were Celtic.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 year ago (1 children)
