Is there a shorter term for it that is hopefully not from a Nolan movie?
All that "die young to remain a hero" talk feels like even more of Nolan's cryptofascist tendencies bubbling up as they often do.
I imagine most people in post primitive society had a phrase similar to what we're talking about, like only the good die young, seems to be an enduring theme throughout the stages of global human oppression that began around the foundation of fixed agrarian societies
