Unfederation should not be used so cavalierly. Instead, community blocks. I know many people that chose lemmy.world because it doesnt block anything and hope it stays that way.

Tbh, if they undid the api change, and also stopped banning communities left and right, id consider it. Atm, lemmy seems like its becoming a farleft monoculture and that is one aspect where it is worse then reddit

More interestingly would be how the activitypub network reacts under reddit-like loads and behaviour, and as i understand it, things shouldnt be too bad?
