It was a tasteless joke, meant to poke fun at history and how it leans towards repetition. I wrongly assumed that invoking an older technology, with its very own paywall, would be understated enough to get a chuckle, or at least an eyeroll.

I dont think there is a surefire way to prove that he did not profit in some way. Is there really an emoluments clause.

This could be a potential lifesaver for a problem we have barely begun to realize. From the research article:

The pollutants bioaccumulated by gut bacteria included perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA), which belong to the chemical group of PFAS. Of the tested bacterial species, nine—Bacteroides caccae, Bacteroides clarus, Bacteroides dorei, Bacteroides stercoris, Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron, Bacteroides uniformis, Odoribacter splanchnicus, Parabacteroides distasonis and Parabacteroides merdae—bioaccumulated PFNA and/or PFOA.

A simple probiotic would be so easy for everyone to access. Now we should get dupont to pay for it for everyone.

This is really incredible footage of what could conclusively be ball lightning. Phenomenon that has very few pictures and even less video evidence.

Agree, i still have a DD 1950x threadripper from, like, 10 years ago. Built it for something else, use it for literally everything now. It is outperformed by almost any newer gen AMD cpu and its a bottleneck with a 6900xt, but all of this is to be expected, it wasnt a powerhouse single core then and it definitely shows its age now.

Single thread performance is not really a good metric for what this proc is designed for. There are few, if any, server designed softwares that would even need to test single-thread.

No, and he apologized

Only if you ignore the NT and server releases. Otherwise, sure why not.

Two people have been fatally shot in a mountain community in the north-western US state of Idaho while responding to a brush fire, say officials.

Kootenai County Sheriff's Office Robert Norris said at least one suspect was firing at law enforcement with a high-powered rifle near the city of Coeur d'Alene.

"We are actively taking sniper fire as we speak," said Sheriff Norris, adding that officers had reported bullets coming from various directions. Residents have been asked to avoid the scene, which is on Canfield Mountain.

Why can’t I hold all these limes! This and people smiling eating salads, and posting pictures of sinks were the fashion in my day. We tied it to our belt back in 20 dickety 1. We had to use dickety because Dick Cheney trademarked the value of nothing after he shot a man in the face while hunting.

You got mail, Seattle, I think.
