Erythritol may impair cellular functions essential to maintaining brain blood vessel health, according to researchers at the University of Colorado Boulder. Findings suggest that erythritol increases oxidative stress, disrupts nitric oxide signaling, raises vasoconstrictive peptide production, and diminishes clot-dissolving capacity in human brain microvascular endothelial cells.

Erythritol has become a fixture in the ingredient lists of protein bars, low-calorie beverages, and diabetic-friendly baked goods.

Yes, but there is a difference between grains and refined sugar and high glucose corn syrup.

But voting should be secret and confidential. Plus, how do you ensure someone isn't voting on someone else's behalf?

I had never heard of the (frankly horrible) band "Train" until recently.

The Voyager in its case (including a trackpad) is about ¼ the size of a Glove80 case. Personally I think the Glove80 makes up for it in its ergonomics, but it does take up most of my backpack when commuting to the office.

It's a heavy duty Fiskars, all steel.

Got my trackball today.

I was out running last night and I came back after the kid had fallen asleep, so I needed to wait until this morning. It only takes an hour, so I can hang the clothes to dry before going to the office.

I'm going to read my book for a bit.

So I recently got an e-reader and have started collecting e-books for it, but a lot of books seem to only be available through Amazon/Kindle. I don't want anything to do with that company. Where do I even start looking? I have my local library apps and have scoured Project Gutenberg and some similar sites. While this is great for classics and older stuff, I want newer books too, specifically science fiction and fantasy. Have looked at author's websites but they typically link to Amazon or physical copies.
