Is that a ZIF 1.8" HDD? What did you end up doing to it?

Thought they are the one behind OnlyOffice?

That AI would make no difference, as there's no content to moderate in the first place.

Lol, what's your problem, man? I thought you're supposed to sound convincing.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago

Definitely don't wanna touch that!

Lmao, I've ran Linux on an eeePC with 1GB RAM and 900MHz Intel Atom. Compiling gcc & glibc could take hours.

Edit: RPi3 still got only 1GB, BeagleBone Black even got 512MB, don't forget RPi0

2GB of RAM? Low?

Were you born after the year 2000?

Imagine your chatbot hallucinating as it tries to assist you in your life and death critical situation.

I just watched Dandadan: Evil Eye in cinema.

It's basically a fanservice in a form of early screening for the first three episodes of season 2 in movie form, opened and closed with the director commentary.

I think it's fucking awesome. Can't wait for the rest of the season!

And then what? Go back to the stone age?

Kids waiting to get picked at school and their parents have emergency, how are they gonna inform the others to get picked up? Are they gonna just let that kid suck it up and wait for hours, just like the good old times?

peaceful protest, my ass!

Hi all, I noticed this community hasn't been active for a while. Might be a good time to bring it back.

Chances are, you already know what I'm talking about. For those who don't: the moderators and admins on feddit.org, especially [email protected], have been removing comments and banning the users that are pro-Palestine, most of the time without even directly addressing them, just straight to banning.

Check out this pinned post. While a some were legit insults and calls to violence, most were just expressing dissatisfaction and questioning the policy.

While not all of us would always agree on things, we've been trying to engage in meaningful discussion even if we'd sometimes end up agreeing to disagree. The same cannot be said on the above community. At this rate, it would become an echo chamber for pro-Israel who'd say anyone disagreeing with them is antisemitic.

Not strictly EU, but I'm rather annoyed that this archaic feature has to be included in virtually every model of suitcase in the market.

Alternatively, anyone know how to remove it without destroying the suitcase?

Has anyone successfully typed either European accented characters or Japanese Kanas on their physical keyboard?

For the longest time, I've been trying to get non-English characters to appear on my system. Specifically European accented characters. I've read about the compose key, but I could never make it work somehow.

I've also tried to make the Kanas to appear using the Japanese keyboard, but that too doesn't work.

I'm using mostly KDE system, on many different distros. As for the keyboard, it's almost always standard US QWERTY without the numpad, varying between various laptops (mostly Thinkpads) and USB keyboards. For the Japanese, it's a Thinkpad W530 (should also apply to X230, T430, and T530).

I've been using Linux for quite a while now. I'm familiar with most inner working of the system, but this the one thing I can never wrap my head around!

I'm from a less fortunate country, looking to move to EU (or Aussie).

Been looking around and all the job posts I see requires that I'd already been living in their city. This is not feasible for me as I'd need visa, which would need company sponsorship.

Any advice?
