I hate that I know people whose brains can't comprehend that authorities would allow a crime to take place, or would do it themselves
I've had discussions about police committing crimes and some of these guys are like 'they can't, that's illegal, they're not allowed to'; bruh, I know they're not allowed to (and some crimes, even if they're allowed to, they shouldn't be allowed to), I'm saying they're committing a crime; they still respond with 'but how? It's illegal'
I genuinely don't understand what mental hurdle is preventing them from grasping that authorities would commit a crime or would allow it to take place
