Good, they better stick to that and protect it with force unless ICE has a WARRENT SIGNED BY A JUDGE.

I know same with many many many other type of "activist" organizations. Like some Anarchist that wanted me to follow there Instagram. I have a lack of faith in your views if you are still on Instagram or similar.

But but but....there "sounding the alarm". You don't understand it's sooooo hard to run candidates someone would really vote for. (sarcasm)

As long as it's implicit right and is a reasonable price I 100% will be getting it. I am willing to pay someone else to securly hold my (e2ee) data.

My advice if you want something with changing some habits that is pretty good Graphine OS would be a good option. I've been running for close to 3 months at this point I think. If you run the right apps it can be decently private and isn't a huge inconvenience.

It's really down to how much time you have and how inconvenientced you want to be. Generally the more secure something is the less convenient it can be. I find Graphine with FOSS apps and other secure services to fit what I want and need.

Honestly the worst part is that I had to tell myself that this isn't real. The US isn't that far gone (yet).

I want to buy something and it will come with a certain amount of updates. It will be one fixed price and keep working after that certain period of updates.

Yea I hate when I got killed for something and then right a message about it.

So I always here about on how Google Android and IOS those companies can see all your notifications. This is because to show a notification it calls an API.

Is there any technical reason that it has to send your notification data to Google and Apple or is it just to get more data on you?

I have some moeny set aside for donating to some open source projects. I was looking for some advice for the best way to determine the need of projects. With only a limited amount of money.

Also would it be better to give to a lot of things and a small amount of money or a large amount of money to a few.

Right now I was thinking of donating to the Lemmy intance I am on and Mastadon instance.

I already use Tuta as my email provider. I already have a domain I can use with it (bought privately). What privacy implemcations does it come with.

The main reason is because I would like to be able to keep the same email address for longer and not have to change when/if I change providers.

I'm looking into to building a small media server. I will be th only user of it. So I don't need the ability to do simultaneous streams. I am planning on running Jellyfin.

Sense I am on a more limited budget I was thinking and older desktop and transcoding my files (on my powerful desktop) to be best supported and play smoothly.

Are there any specific recommendations you guys have for hardware I should keep a look out for that's cheaper or other recommendations for cheap hardware?
