Driving got better when I moved out of urban areas. I used to live on one of the most populated areas of my state, but recently moved out to the mountains and it’s made driving enjoyable. I know that’s not a solution for everyone tho.

Yeah, the fact that most of Lemmy is just ex redditors with a chip on their shoulders really shows.
Someone at my wife’s old company had a heart attack in his office last month, people heard him dying and all they did was run and grab the boss. The company still hasn’t brought in a grief counselor or given anyone time off to process. Needless to say she quit that job.
The world is a very sad place.

I deal with the same issue and find myself in the same mindset pretty often. One thing I can say is that we aren’t lazy failures, there is a lot of nuance to the way an ADHD/Anxiety/OCD brain functions. One of them is executive dysfunction, another the subsequent act of blaming ourselves for it.
One thing I can say that helps me is taking a step back, getting a high level view of all the tasks, and looking for the lowest hanging fruit. Completing one small item gives me the feeling of accomplishment and urge to check a few more items off the list.

Meanwhile Will is the serious show-runner, trying to keep everything on track, but never adding much in terms of content.

I think because it was many people’s first introduction to leftism in an easily digestible way. Also, early on the show was much more focused on Trump and Hillary, which was a very funny election at the time and drew a lot of people. Now everyone who listens to it is really just doing it out of habit. There are much better shows.
