You wake up to a text message, "hey viktor, i know it's short notice but you available to get together for games tonight?"

You respond, "yes!" Because even if you have plans, you cancel them almost immediately. That night you arrive and have brought a game, Betryal at House On a Hill. I answer the door, "Viktor!" I say with a big smile. I invite you in and give you a pat on the back. I look down to see the game you've brought and i offer to take it to the table. There are some other guys there and i make introductions, "This is Viktor, i ran into him the other day and he seemed like a lot of fun." One by one the other guests go around introducing themselves.

After introductions we play the game and everyone had a blast. The end!

Hope you liked my short story and i hope you can imagine some of the interactions. Like introductions with some strangers and playing games!

Huh, i see that listed on the wiki now. All the fights i did today kind of blur together but sounds about right. I do think that she was crit from poise breaking though. I stunlocked her with my earthquake ash of war and once we broke her poise the other furled finger crit. But like i said everything blurs together so maybe it was a riposte

I have a Kobo. My wife has kindle. Kindle is better if you want kindle unlimited. Kobo is better for everything else as far as I'm concerned. Especially if you want to sideload your own books via calibre or just dropping them onto the device when plugged into your computer. My kobo hooks up directly with overdrive/libby for borrowing books from the library and does everything i need it to.

I don't have a specific model to recommend though. Mine is nearing 8-10 years old and still working

I sometimes forget people parry. It was a hard thing to learn in sekiro/bloodborne ๐Ÿ˜…

I loved DS2 and put it at the top with DS3.

Elden ring is my least fav. I guess I'm going right. Which i guess is good because I've really only scratched the surface of bloodborne.

Yeah i had heard Linux gaming was good but when installed steam i found only like 10% of my games were showing as playable for Linux. Next day i realized i needed to turn on the proton option or whatever

It's all about what you like and your playstyle. Dual dex build is probably easier from equip load perspective you just wont hit as hard per single hit but you can still shred stuff as long as you know how long you have between attacks. Elden beast itself pauses for long periods. You just have to chase it and know how to avoid some of the more dangerous attacks

Elden beast is absolutely doable without cheese and just melee. You're right that it is more of a marathon. In NG I did a 2H greatsword build, and in NG+ and NG++ ive used dual greatswords.

Haven't a clue about that specific sword or faith builds though, I love my greatswords ๐Ÿคฃ

For talismans a must have is the ritual shield imo. I also run physical damage res and for that fight holy res can be good. These days i just run the jump attack talisman and the equip load one (cuz dual greatswords at lvl 125 ain't light!).
