Don't know how I just found this out, but I actually go the pharmacy a lot overnight to get scripts done and get medical supplies. Like what am I meant to do if I need to fulfill a script overnight? Seems like something as important as dispensing medication, at times life saving, should be available at any time so that anyone can get it. What's the next thing that's gonna be cut to save on money?

Could be worse:

I didn't get diagnosed with ADHD until I pursued it viciously as an adult. I always wonder how I could have actually been treated as a child instead of dealing with doctors arguing if I was ADHD or ASD, as I could only be given one label back then (2000s). Good to see that there is now research being done on this and that we are moving forward finally.

Do you still have the pdf of the paper? I couldn't access it through the links you provided and it's not on Sci-Hub yet. It looks interesting and I'd like to read it :)

Meds help with powering through undesirable tasks, but they can make the hyper focus even worse.

Omg, I can relate to this so much. Sometimes I don't have my meds because I don't want to risk hyperfocusing on something for too long. I don't see many people talk about this one.

Fortunately I can't sit still for too long, so I don't get back pain.

Thanks for the photo. I've heard a lot about him, so glad I've never had the opportunity to meet him in person.

This was me the other day. I spent hours and hours coding up some things in python when all I was supposed to do were the dishes.

The dishes didn't get done because it was too hard, but I got fancy looking weather graphs from the data from my air quality sensor that I built while avoiding other simple chores that really ought to have been done by now.

People think I'm lazy and refuse to listen to me about this, but it literally gets in the way of things like eating and sleeping.

I first installed Ubuntu on a laptop in 2016. I started using linux full-time in 2017 with Ubuntu MATE and I'm now on EndeavourOS after trying these:

  • Ubuntu
  • Lubuntu
  • KDE Neon
  • Antergos
  • Manjaro
  • Arch

I use Debian and Arch on home servers, and I want to install OpenSUSE Slowroll to replace my Arch server (it hasn't broken yet)

As far as I'm concerned it's still 2018 and the year of the linux desktop....
