Some rockabilly from some of my all time faves; The Rev and Jimbo. Ive seen Rev so many times over the last 25 years ive lost track. Great showmen, great music, they almost always stick around after a small show to greet their fans. Theyre getting up there in age and i really hope i see them one more show before they call it.

Amongst his peers in the 'outlaw country' genre, Donald Lytle was an actual outlaw IMO.

Back when he was touring dive bars and still making his way, he'd get into bar fights before his gigs started. Once, he stole Patsy Cline's car. Another time he got on his CB radio in his tour bus and started soliciting truckers within earshot for drugs. He showed up for court in Canadia once, shirtless and shooting the bird during the Canadian anthem. His funeral was attended by Hells Angels members, along with celebs like George Jones, Jimmy Dickens and others.

Having a moment where i've been going thru Genesis/Phil Collins' discography. I might also be having a moment where im turning into my dad as i age, he is a Phil Collins fan from the 1970s. I disliked Genesis/Phil Collins just because my pop liked them. I lumped them into the same class of music as the Eurythmics, which im coming around on as well.

Phil Collins is a monster on the drums. An amazing technical drummer, to my untrained ear. The man also has a set of pipes on him, he can carry a fucking tune. I debated between posting this song or Against All Odds, because of his voice but chose against it because its a certain mood i think.
