Is the proper nyc mayoral election also ranked choice or just fptp?

That makes a lot of sense, thank you. I am making the website from scratch (programming in Vue, Docker). I was planning on having everything be visible without a login, but I could take some alternate approach where some content is locked behind a login.

Can you explain more? If users need to log in (authenticate) to see content, I dont need to care about copyright?

Hey gamers. I'm planning on hosting a website with some copyrighted content on it (mostly just archiving a bunch of art). What web hosting services do people here like to use? Ideally one that won't give a fuck that I host copyrighted content. I looked at Ultahost a bit and they seem fine but reddit-logo users seem to say it sucks.

Chat should I use cloudflare for security for a website I'm making or no

I've tinkered with deepseek locally a bit, a lot of fun. Seeing machines perform thinking processes (like chess.com analyses where you get to see each step of it trying to find the best move) or deepseek reasoning with itself step-by-step is pretty cool I think.

highest res i could find after 2 minutes of reverse searching, there's probably higher quality versions out there

Yeah they're breaking like 10 different rules to get their candidate to win. The only places Israel performed poorly in is the countries where you need to show your ID card to get a sim card.

Almost got my master's degree in compsci, now how do I practically find a job? How do I find all the job postings and then also apply to all of them and maximize my chances of finding a job? I went and manually looked through all the linkedin jobs in one city that seem relevant, but manually applying and writing cover letters for 100+ different jobs is gonna take forever

Old article but a good one, I think. I can't stand people who spread this virus, especially in the presence of kids.

From "From Yao to Mao: 5000 Years of Chinese History by Kenneth J. Hammond". You can watch all of it on tankietube. Would love someone to discuss the series with. I have a few other "funny" clips from this series if people are interested.

I can't find any example of this. I'm thinking of like, a city besieged on land and on sea, and the defenders of the besieged city sending out an early attack against the naval blockade surrounding the city. Is there anything like that?

So Sorties are a thing on land because the attackers need some time to set up their defenses and build siege weapons and they're vulnerable during that time, but I don't think there's anything analogous on the sea.
