No more bugs… but lots of humans. Time to return to primordial form.

Cat girls & boys are very sensitive to noise because they have two sets of ears. So remember to always whisper the gentle words you have for them ;3
I'm really happy to live in 2025 because that means I don't have to cope with how the climate will be in a century. If I could bring something back it would be pre-industrial climate.
I don't know about Kenya, but in Canada it's too late to plant trees. Climate change has intensified forest fires in such a way that the forest has been a net emitter in recent years. Furthermore human planted trees are extremely flammable compared to an actual forest, so they accelerate emissions instead of helping. A forest is not the plural for trees, it's an extremely complex system that cannot be substituted with an afternoon of good actions.
I recalled differently so I looked it up. Here’s a video of a random person claiming their points. No code-in-box, just the console phoning Nintendo with cartridge inserted.
Nothing is stored to tie carts to hardware or accounts.
Do you remember the discontinued gold points program? For any brand new physical cartridge you could claim equivalent to 1% the game’s price. Obviously the points could only be claimed once, by a single account. This seems to point pretty strongly to carts being uniquely identifiable and to Nintendo’s ability of keeping track of usage.
I preferred the first one's contemplative side, the slow pace, the aesthetics... but I've yet to meet someone who feels the same so yeah
Yakuza: Like a Dragon does this and I’m grateful.
When the game is such a precious labour of love, so obviously cared for, and constantly improved, that there’s no way the dev has any time left for gaming.
Since we're on the topic; what irked me the most about HP is that it feels like a glorification of the aristocracy.
The very idea that individuals born from great families are destined to influence the course of the world while the plebs rot in helpless ignorance is basically what's wrong with the world. The magic school is clearly an allegory of these fucking ancient private colleges you get to go to if you're born with status. The whole setup is a privilege fantasy.
This is especially grand considering actual witchcraft was a way to frame, demonize and ultimately neutralize ordinary women's knowledge and influence, for the sake of tightening the clergy and the nobility's grip on the layperson.
DUCKIES!! They so smol
I saw some wild geese a week ago and their offspring were pretty big and well into shedding their dawn. They were in that awkward age
Sometimes I wonder who I would be without the constant, crippling anxiety.
