That is incredibly stupid, they are literally not allowed to not pay? That should be illegal.
I believe it does it in the background, or has an option to. Id recommend also having another app as they often have more features and a decent UI. I use droidify and used to use neo store.

I don't see how this benefits the user over using the website, or why the dev would want to collab, but I'll ping him anyway. Keep in mind the dev hasn't been on Lemmy for a while, so it might be a very long time before you get a response. @[email protected]
No, as I said the API doesn't work with the AI plugins. And also, using other peoples work and effort for a profit without adding any value yourself is completely morally wrong.
It is also a lemmy frontend I believe, it is compatible. Maybe instances that host frontends like lemmy.world should host it as it looks amazing. Maybe once it is complete other instances could host it instead of the default.
