This community is mainly for discussions between those who are building generators. For discussions about using generators, especially the popular AI ones, the community-led Casual Perchance forum is likely a more appropriate venue.

If you ask a question and someone has made a effort to help you out, please remember to be thankful! Even if they don't manage to help you solve your problem - remember that they're spending time out of their day to try to help a stranger :)

4. Only post about stuff related to perchance.

Please only post about perchance related stuff like generators on it, bugs, and the site.

5. Refrain from requesting Prompts for the AI Tools.

We would like to ask to refrain from posting here needing help specifically with prompting/achieving certain results with the AI plugins (text-to-image-plugin and ai-text-plugin) e.g. "What is the good prompt for X?", "How to achieve X with Y generator?"

You can ask for help with prompting at the 'sister' community Casual Perchance, which is for more casual discussions.
We will still be helping/answering questions about the plugins as long as it is related to building generators with them.

I am writing to seek your approval for using the "perchance.org" name and API for “ai-text-to-image-generator” in my application. I am creating an Android Text to Image Generation Application which will be commercially available and will work in the same way as the “perchance.org/ai-text-to-image-generator” works. You can say it is the Android Version of the Perchance Website natively built in Kotlin for Android.

I believe using “perchance.org/ai-text-to-image-generator” capabilities with my application will enhance the user experience and will help to provide a better user experience.

Please let me know if there is any additional information required from my side to facilitate this process.

Your feedback and approval would be greatly appreciated.

No, as I said the API doesn't work with the AI plugins. And also, using other peoples work and effort for a profit without adding any value yourself is completely morally wrong.

Let me make it clear. I just want to make an Application with the same name "Perchance Pretty AI", an App affiliated with Perchance as there is no already available App like this. I have no intention to monetize it by any means. Just a free application with "no Subscription "and "no Advertisements". If API doesn't work like that, mean there is no way to make an Android Application?

See the Dev's Comment on creating a public API. Advertisements funds the AI plugins and there is no way to serve the Ads that funds the plugins through the API.

To solve your funding related issue. We can add your ad placements Ids in the Application according to your needs. So that revenue goes directly to you. We are not much interested in the profits, but collaboration with Perchance .

I don't see how this benefits the user over using the website, or why the dev would want to collab, but I'll ping him anyway. Keep in mind the dev hasn't been on Lemmy for a while, so it might be a very long time before you get a response. @[email protected]
