Cars get hot and break in the summer all of the time, but just WAIT until these things see their first winter. Salt, potholes, snow, ice, and cold.

Bones
The first 3-4 seasons are really good. Lots of sets, lots of live action, lots of really good practical effects, and based pretty well in real(ish) science. Season 1 in particular has a ton of Bones beating people up which i personally love and wish theyd kept throughout the series. It's a Bush era show aired on Fox, so there's cop worship and "gotta defend the homeland" brainworms, but I like that the message universally is that the cops are too dumb to solve crimes and they need the smart people in a lab to figure it out for them.
Show drops off immensely after season 4. The stakes feel lower, the writing isn't as witty, they got a toyota sponsorship so once an episode a character will all but straight up look in the camera and say "but a toyota you pathetic worm". Less on location shots, more CGI. Just disappointing after seeing what they could do. It was probably the only network TV crime drama I liked.
King of the Hill YTPs still make me howl.
That's been a conservative talking point for years. That if it weren't for [insert generic bad person here] you'd have a million dollars and a boat and 6 houses.
I'm amazed how many people still fall into it.
As far as I know there's no added features since the musk takeover. Paying for a blue check doesn't count as a feature.
"I'm JD Vance! I Jork DePeanus!" "OK" True story
When Vance was the pick, I swear i saw a whole bunch of inorganic "between this and the VP pick, this week is going great!". Like, a TON of them across all social media platforms and they all gave off the same vibe.
Bit of a ramble, but I guess my point is yeah, if something feels weird and is in support of a product, there's probably marketing influence at play.
I refuse to accept that CEOs do any "work". For him, riding the jet is work.
I did recently as well and I had a similar experience. Although I have to say, I saw more than I did the last time I flew in 2022. Plus a lot more airport employees wearing them.
