Hey, Bubsy 3D has attained legendary status.

...for all the wrong reasons.

I'm pretty sure the few overpaid execs that are "fuck you" rich are still there, and they're probably richer than ever. However now they probably consider themselves too important to park with normal people. It's all about private jets and helicopters.

Tells a lot about this guy and his ilk that he thinks you measure a healthy company to how many assholes actively flaunt their money with shallow luxury shit.

I mean, Hamilton exists. If people want to write crazy shit about historical figures or make games about them they should be able to.

There's a 35 year old game series featuring stuff like leading Cleopatra's army against the tyrannical rule of Theodore Roosevelt while Gandhi's words are backed with NUCLEAR WEAPONS.

I recently learned there was a musou/Warriors game called Bladestorm taking place during the hundred years' war. The game was not great apparently but reading about the crazy anime takes on European historical figures and events is funny.

Apparently it has a sequel where Joan of Arc turns evil (including the stereotypical villainess costume change, of course) and leads an army of sorcerers and monsters to wreck havoc.

Yeah, it's also important to note that Grok is a reliable source of information about fuck all.

Lots of the assets (most notably face models) are from Half-Life 2. The reason they've been used in this skibidi shit is because the original videos were made with either gmod or Source Film Maker, not sure, but in any case, in the Source engine.

And of course the easiest way to find models for this is to take them from Source games. If you just started playing with gmod, that's probably what you'd be doing, building silly stuff with assets from your source games.

Vinesauce's Vinny got one as a joke. He's made full streams being baffled and trying to understand the trend (one of them with a lengthy tour from a "lore expert"). And of course being amazed that this is probably the only thing for what the G-man face is known to a lot of people now.

But he's got a segment where he opens silly collectibles and blind boxes, so of course he had to get that shit. And uses it as a prop once in a while for a convenient flush sound effect.

What should be especially illegal is those ads that use "alert" sounds. Door knocks/bells, phone rings, and worst of all, fucking car horn and other alarm noises.

Anything beeping or sounding like a siren should be completely forbidden for safety reasons.

Ah ah ah boost that shit.

6128 too, with the disk drive. I wish I still had that thing. Drive stopped functioning, and we got rid of it. Had I known back then that we apparently just needed to replace a freaking rubber band...

Somehow the chatGPT US map generated a clean, correctly spelled French word for "Mondays" instead of Illinois.

Sorry, Illinois, Garfield hates your guts.

I did a Dr Mario clone around that age. I had an old Amstrad CPC I had grew up with typing listing of basic programs and trying to make my own. I think this was the only functional game I could finish, but, it worked.

Speed was tied to CPU, I had no idea how to "slow down" the game other than making it do useless for loops of varying sizes... Max speed that was about comparable to Game Boy Hi speed was just the game running as fast as it could. Probably not efficient code at all.

I think this is a bug? I read that this apparently happened to some people with some previous expedition reward ships, but it's the first I've seen it. Steam version.

When I tried to claim the ship, my only claim option was to buy it for 1400 nanites. I hadn't that much left, I basically spent all my nanites on minotaur AI and upgrades (because fuck having to fight yourself in this game). Since I couldn't buy, I had a warning I would not be able to claim it later, and even though I cancelled, while I was trying to farm for nanites that game switched to normal save and I couldn't claim anymore (even from Anomaly).

I've confirmed in another save that the reward is available, but since I don't have that much nanites, I haven't try claiming yet, just in case it got eaten up again.
