Just thought you should know.

lol. lmao.
Imma need to see you paint some cloth.
I uhh attempted an ill-advised pun.
Consolation lame joke: in flagranate delicto already means "being a flamer".
I think I maybe get what you mean, I've noticed I have a disproportionate amount of disdain or resentment for wealthy white gay guys. Rational or not, they seem like a convenient focal point lol for these overarching issues.
My main post was facetious. I'm a coward and if getting caught doing the gay posed a real risk to my life I'd probably minimize that. The pigs would never catch me in removedrante delicto.
I admire the courage and sacrifice of the people who got us here. It was a path often paved with blood. It just stings to see the loudest voices in LGBT be the people with the absolute lowest risk of being persecuted/harmed/killed. I also know too many gay white guys in finance and finance-adjacent fields, so they migjt just be the worst examples.lol.
Not sure what you mean by that, care to elaborate?
I am not a clever man and I have begun to realize that I lack a basic understanding of sexuality, mine and others'. I'm a super suspicious person so my first thought was how do I get informational materials from an LGBT group that hasn't been co-opted by Black Rock or something.
After doing some research, I actually just found some alternatives to Pride that are staunchly anti-corporate:
Queer Liberation March
Gay Shame
Against Equality
Queeruption
Now statistically, one or two of those are likely to be reactionaries who got to the correct answer for the wrong reasons, or those kinda LGB dorks.
The "Responses" section of the wiki page may perhaps contain some scholarly analysis or proposed solutions to some of these problems...

Ron DeSantis and other Republicans criticized Disney for being "woke"
As always, natopedia is fair and balanced. Equal weight to pros and cons, and always presenting both sides of the issue.
[Gay] neighborhoods [...] gradually underwent the gentrification process. Rising prices expelled the LGBT population that could not afford the new expenses.
Different companies and firms in turn began incorporating the defense of LGBT rights into their company policies and codes of conduct, and even financing LGBT events.
On the one hand, you might now be homeless. On the other hand, a CEO might pay some lip service to you (while spending millions to make gay marriage illegal again).
some funny excerpts from the natopedia article on rainbow capitalism:
After the Second World War, Western culture was influenced by the homophobia of fascism
In the United States, accommodation of the LGBT community through capitalist mechanisms has resulted in economic and societal protections for the LGBT community greater than those prescribed under the law. Under the American economic system, employers are incentivized to support the workforce[...]
I guess there were some missteps in the 30s and 40s, when our glorious western culture was tainted by the foreign ideology of fascism. Luckily, thanks to the power of the free market, this has been corrected and discrimination against the gays has been fixed by the invisible hand.
It's a reference to Micah Xavier Johnson, who killed 5 cops.
