oh yeah u make some excellent points there. especially over his politics. i think i agree. it would obviouly be pretty awful if a member some small communist or anarchist group did it, the repression would be terrible. it being this guy is perhaps a good thing. but maybe also in terms of drawing some of the right towards the left. because like reactionaries are often kinda close (in a fucked up way) to identifying the the problems, but their analysis is bad and leads them towards reactionary solutions. and this tendency is massively abused by the right wing "thought leaders" who just lie to them constantly. when i've managed to talk to people with reactionary politics and managed to remove some of their brainworms, it's because i manage to find common ground with them in some small way and build on it, go through the process of correcting their analysis and offering real solutions rather than lies. they feel unjustly wronged, and they have been. just not by the people they are told are responsible.

like this local farmer guy i know. he was never a full on reactionary, and tbh he's actually such a lovely guy. but he was falling into a lot of conspiracy theories, and into the trap of thinking that because the "left" is in power here, and they've basically abandoned rural areas like this, that leftwing politics can't help us. but you know, we agree that the government has failed us and that all politicians are evil. we agree that climate change is coming for us. that's something to build off, and we did. and i haven't heard any weird reactionary takes from him in aaaages.

despite some of the libs being all moralistic about it, it's also delightful to see that many of them, people from all sides tbh, are just celebrating what happened. it creates an opening for the left to step up in an outreach sense.

but yes he should never been caught. and tbh i am not convinced they're not just framing this guy. but something like this has to be planned meticulously, and if they do it right they won't be caught. which is kinda why i'm so suspicious of luigi getting caught. he left no useful evidence basically, seemed to have planned everything pretty well. and then just goes into a macdonalds and gets caught. if there are any similar lone actions inspired by this one i hope that they are never caught or known. and yes the left must organise, both in trying to make use of the ideological opening this creates, and in terms of direct action. not necessarily murdering people, but using a diversity of tactics. perhaps including propaganda of the deed, since the public reaction to this seems to have been so positive. but whatever the case,

don't. get. caught.

my next tattoo, i have been planning for a while but some recent events have put it on my mind a lot, is "kill your heroes", something i very much live by.

the event should have nothing to do with the shooter. the left just needs to fucking step up because we need to take action. effective action. the right effectively holding a monopoly on political violence is not a good thing like the libs act like it is. people who act like 'we' have to maintain the 'moral highground' on not using violence when our enemies do, is actively disgusting to me. its just dying the martyr because they lack the conviction to do anything.

even before this guy got caught tho i never thought he should be made into a hero. we should have no heroes. even if this guy had been a leftist, he could have been an example to others sure, but making him into a hero makes everyone else passive victims waiting to be saved.

this is also the only redeeming feature of terf island, it has an unlimited quantity of extremely rude place names.

but then again, there is a place in spain that basically translates as "the fuck", as in the act of fucking

it's hard to know exactly what to call this because the way someone approaches hormones has nothing to do with "how nonbinary" they are. but i still know there are ways to use hormones in ways outside of the typical pathways and that plenty of us find that fits us better. but I haven't seen a lot of information about what the options are, and infos about safety.

but to be clear about the kind thing i'm talking about, i mean doing HRT in ways intended to move more towards physical androgyny, your own balance between masculinisation and feminisation, or being able to be selective about the effects you get from your hormone regime. for example, taking non-monotherapy levels of E without blocking T, low dose T, use of DHT blockers, and more.

i'm not looking for personal advice, more like inviting people to share their experiences of doing HRT this way, and anything else they might wanna share, like their aims, mistakes (since sometimes we're making guesses due to reduced medical care and research), intersections with illness or disability.

My HRT situation is quite specific because it interacts with my being intersex and also a related disability. i was unsure how much detail to include but decided to add a certain amount about both complications because the infos could still be useful.

my HRT and related health and intersex info

due to my particular intersex condition i don't produce sex hormones, and didn't go through puberty. i also have EDS and my physical health is very sensitive to my sex hormones, so my regime tries to balance physical health and gender feel.

i started out switching between estrogen and testosterone every few years, but unfortunately taking estrogen caused problems associated with my intersex condition. they tried to treat this with progesterone, which made my joints progressively worse until i wasn't able to walk without crutches. so i basically need to take testosterone. i've been trying to incorporate estrogen into my regime but so far haven't been successful. however i recently managed to find some research that gave me an idea of the max dose of E i can take, and i'm planning on trying again at this lower dose to see if i can tolerate it.

my goal has always been to stay somewhere in the middle of the masculinisation and feminisation effects. i would honestly like to have more control over the effects of either hormone than is actually possible, and i do get some level of dysphoria from the effects of both. but it's much less than it was when i was younger and i am regularly asked by the poor confused cis if i'm a man or a woman so i guess it's been working well enough.

we just had the worst rains we've ever had. we've lost power and our house flooded very badly. i have not yet been able to assess all the damage but it's pretty bad. some of the roof has fallen in.

we need money to buy a ladder and materials to make repairs. we'll do all the work ourselves. might have to post again if the electrical damage is bad, but right now i think we need like 300€ to get what we need to start repairs. anything is welcome. my partner's paypal is naapurinvelho@outlook.com or feel free to message for my bank details (it's a eurozone bank if that matters)

and thank you so much to anyone who can help.

i've been asked to find a source for puberty blockers by an acquaintance whose son has been taken off puberty blockers by the uk government and health service rule changes.

I'm not optimistic about this, as i've looked for it before and not been able to find anything. i also warned them it was extremely expensive. but they wanted me to look anyway. i have looked, and not been able to find anything.

does anyone have any sources? specifically triptorelin or a similar gnrh agonist. parents don't seem willing to consider letting their son start hormones.

i'm taking nettle seeds home to spain from finland. been making food and string out of them while i'm here at my partner's. mostly using the seeds for food rather than the leaves, so far. though maybe some nettle soup would be nice before we go.

they do in theory grow natively in spain, but i haven't been able to find any where i live so seeds it is.

i do hope that no overzealous airport staff think it's weed.
