Hm and here I thought new trek was bad because of weak and lazy story writing, including blatant inconsistencies with old trek and 'burning' the original cannon in order to avoid being accountable to it. 🤔
I spent more time on IRC than USENET but I certainly remember it.
I didn't take the name until much later when I identified more closely with the word, but this was certainly my first exposure to it when I was young.
This was a side project of the guy behind Din_Fiv and it felt very similar feeling, at least for the first album. Later Informatik turned into synthpop and I lost interest in them.
