Dang.. I like the occasional hint and foreshadow. I think it was short enough that a new player wouldn't get spoiled, rather they would think it is weird and then when they actually learn about it, they will look back and realize what it was.
I'm not aware of a setting that removes the app badge from all shortcuts, only the Edit option you found already.
I've also not used launchers other than Nova.

When one's device is a general purpose computer instead of a locked-down feature computer, so many more excellent opportunities are available. I'm glad you are enjoying your freedom to compute what you want!

I had an LG EnV 2!! It was great. Its a very good class of phone.
I picked mage and no Kandarin. I do not notice a lack of power. 2t attacks are simply bonkers and I have no regrets.
I think the relic choices are all solid. Some have issues but not due to their intended effect (treasure seeker b.c. clue step issues, soul stealer b.c. range and mage damage calculation issues).
In this case the game is already available on other platforms. The pre-order risk in this case is for a bad performing port, not gameplay.
