Thanks for your experience.

It seems a common reason to set up a frontend is for family use. I suppose that is a logical extension of designing a system for its users - if someone wants to use it a certain way, they get to use it that way.

What are your reasons? Discovery / searching?

Nice! Thank you for sharing your experience. :)

How did you get your NAS to know when it was being used?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I'm a fan of simplicity.

Which software do you use to run your NAS? I have TrueNAS scale.

No TV, yes spouse. She prefers playing media from the network folder just like me.

Makes sense! Thank you :)

What is a "tmm" stack? Sorry for my ignorance.

Absolutely!

What do you like about those that make your experience better?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 days ago

I see! That makes sense. Thank you :)

What do you prefer using?

The best illustrated page so far!

Ok. My suggestion is to find an older version of Minecraft and install it, then try to convert it, then if it works update back to latest. It looks like you are on Android so you can install old apps via APK files.

Could you share the bug details here? Maybe we can help too.

The phone is pretty old, running Android 6. It has 2600.emu on it with the entire catalogue of 2600 games. She remembers playing on her friends' Atari as a kid and some of the games she played so I added those as shortcuts.

I tried several emulation apps: 2600.emu, droid2600, and MAME4Droid. The modern versions of all refused to install. 2600.emu and droid2600 both had an older version that installed. Overall I liked 2600.emu for its better onscreen controls & better paddle control on these specific versions.

It feels nice to repurpose old tech for something "new". It wouldn't be possible without a dedicated community.

Super quick post. Just want to say that the music during the wardens phases in ToA slaps so hard. My fav is at the end of P3, I feel like the music is synced up with the start of the lightning attacks.

If you want to comment, what is your favorite music in osrs?

Not best in slot, but best in fashion 😎

(Spoilers for The Path of Glouphrie)

In the new quest, the little number discs are back!! What a troll loool. As soon as I saw the discs I felt dread, after dealing with them at Oaknock's machine.

It was fun, though. I think that emotion was overall a good one. I liked the quest. 5 stars.
