I put the versions of movies in a folder by title, then add a suffix like " - HD" and " - UHD4K" to the move file names. It defaults to the first in the list which is in alphabetical order, and shows a choice for each version.

I'm curious if you look at "Subtitle mode" as their user in their user settings, is it on default?

I used to have subtitle management issues, but now I use mkv files so that I can include the original subtitles from my discs. You can use settings in Handbrake to control size and quality. This doesn't help of course if you aren't using discs...

Is your media in a recommended directory layout? https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/media/movies/

If you use vscode, you might look at the thunderclient extension.

I remember Dell had an option back in 2013 on the XPS laptops...

Same here on a lower end Samsung, it's fine. IMHO I also think if people flock to apps for just a UI, it can take away some of the motivation to improve a site.

FYI...It looks like they are doing the "explore your discovery queue and earn a card" thing, but at least for me the new PC client doesn't let you know you have a new item in your inventory.
