Fucking incredible game

Would love a late sequel to it that leans more into the first half of the game over the RTS, I feel like we haven't seen many good old school action platformers lately, and a game based on sick ass metal album covers would be perfect for it

But even then the original is great

I made a mistake but it's even worse, it was a federal courthouse in Dallas. There's a fantastic photo taken by a journalist nearby just before the doofus gets shot, and you can see him hunched over, rifle sling dragging on the ground, look of pure "Life comes at you fast" in his eyes

Usually these dorks train by acting like Seal Team Six tier 1 operator types. They'll train in all sorts of ridiculous situations like prone underneath a car with one leg "broken", they'll practice elaborate speed reload methods, run competition courses in full kit

All the kind of shit that looks great on YouTube, right up until they'd ever need to put it in practice, at which point they'll shit and piss themselves and drop every magazine they try to reload (which actually did happen to an attempted mass shooter in the US. Forgot the name or location, but he essentially tried to shoot up a bank. On the way in he dropped his gun, broke the sling, and fumbled the magazine before getting shot in the face by a security guard)

You see he was only so evil because he never had a hug and a cat

Stalin though was always innately evil and could never have been redeemed

If the walls are ripped apart by wind, i wonder how the structural integrity of the rest of the building is

Well I'd imagine pretty fucking solid considering only some windows and frames got removed, and the building is still standing

I wonder if that would change [Hitler] positively. Cats are the most anti authoritarian pets I can think of, and a good way to teach children about compassion and consent.

Of course, that might have ended up steering him away from politics completely and someone else would have taken his place

Fucking liberals man agony-consuming

I don't like the Dragon Rider because they are taking their furry(scaly?) kink and trying to make it a pronoun.

Your comfort doesn't override or supercede someone else's. Suck it up or shut the fuck up

shocked that Ukrainians had easy access to things like chocolate

The standard issue Russian armed forces MRE has tea bags, sugar, caramel hard candies, and multiple fruit jams with crackers. Every soldier gets this every single day

What the fuck are they talking about lmao I feel like if you've got all that, chocolate is probably not that surprising at all. Like 90% of military rations in the world have chocolate

Constantly asking my sergeant if we're about to be overrun by the enemy so I can take out my brochure about what to do if I'm overrun by the enemy while asking the approaching soldiers to hold on while I read the instructions

Love to go into combat carrying a small booklet detailing what should be done in case of capture instead of it being drilled and trained during combat training

Like all it takes is a second of critical thinking to realize this is ridiculous. Not even the Japanese soldiers during WW2 carried shit like this. What do those idiots at reddit-logo think, the North Koreans are going to stop and go "huh our position looks like it's being overrun, let's read the war manual we were given. Oh it says to frag myself? May as well!"

I tend to find AI slop just super overcooked. Because the people who use it lack any sense for what art is, they adopt a "more is more" approach, so the art is always just jammed full of details in every inch, regardless of whether it works in terms of composition or sense, making it look busy and messy. Why is there a random shiny gear over her shoulder? What is the Thing on her other shoulder? Why has the chocolate got shid on it?

Even when the slop generator can prompt things well enough to keep the composition restrained, the rendering of everything will be overcooked. Every artist will skimp on some parts of an image to deal with the focal points, while AI will instead go 110% all out on rendering shading and lighting across every inch of the image again making it busy and messy

It's easy to clock this shit because it lacks any actual concept of what humans find appealing, because no human is involved at any step (even prompting it, techbros don't count)

It's like a big theatre, a whole country is playing ... "country"

I love these brain genius comments because they invite so many followup questions

Like: if they're pretending to be a country, what's the point? If it's illegal to film them, then who are they performing to? It can't be the tourists, because the implication is that it's illegal for them to see this. If it's for the "government" then why in a random street corner? Where is Kim watching it from if this is some weird theatre act for him?

Or: at what point does acting like a country simply become being a country? If everyone is playing some Truman Show style role every single day then at that point they're just indistinguishable from a country

Or: why would a country spend the immense amount of money, time, and effort to put on a kabuki show of acting like a country? Does it not make more sense that they're actually just... Being a country?

Of course reddit-logo idiots will dismiss all these questions by going "well North Korea is just k u h r a z y like that"
