He wouldn't say that unless he was astoundingly stupid. More likely they're just trying to lull Iran into a false sense of security before a second strike.

Hmm, maybe 50/50.

Signs of enemy incompetence isn't an indication that they don't mean you harm.

The US is already involved.

Shame on the Iranians if they are pacified into falling for two first strikes in a week by the same amalgamation of evil.

The US has already demanded Iran's surrender and is moving into position to attack. Iran should immediately begin hitting the refineries of all US client states in the region. They might not have the chance soon. Why wait for the US to make a first strike when western countries are all in on the game and will condemn you for defending yourself regardless?

A response to @Z_Poster365 and @Monk3brain3

Russia and Hamas have conducted themselves extremely morally. Russia has killed remarkably few civilians, whilst Hamas treated people trying to genocide them exceptionally well despite having no obligations to do so. However, it doesn't mean anything when people are broadly believe what they are conditioned to believe, and western governments are operating purely off twisting facts to suit their agendas, with morals being almost entirely irrelevant. Trying to be morally superior to entities that simply do not seem to factor morals into their actions is utterly pointless.

If western powers are only going to act (regardless of what is said) in ruthless self interest, the only effective outcome is to make them afraid and respect your capabilities so that they take heed and compromise out of a desire to avoid conflict for their own safety and well-being.

No, bottle them up. Don't let them flee yet. Make them feel like rats on a sinking ship. Let them feel the danger and absorb the fact that escape isn't an option that will always be available to them.

Give them the airport back in a few weeks when they're ready to tear each other apart to get seats on a plane.

Then they'll go home and never think of coming back.

I wish I could say this was the only Ukrainian I've encountered with this type of severe cognitive injury.

There's still no proof that F-35's have been destroyed, sadly.

For sure the missiles being used in True Promise 3 are a LOT more accurate than the ones that were used on the airbases in True Promise 2.

After some consideration, I'm going to start referring to the gazan genocide as the Holotaphe.

Holo, from the Greek "whole". Taphe, from the Greek "burial", considering the number of bodies still entombed in the ruins.

Taph, in Hebrew, also means little children, considering the enormous number of dead children.

We don't need to dehumanize settlers; they already willingly amputated their humanity in their violent quest for racial dominance. Should I treat someone who would treat me the way they have treated Palestinians, purely for material gain, as human? I'm not sure. In order to avoid misanthropy, I must consider them an aberration. Self created monsters who have willingly severed our common humanity. Ultimately, pity doesn't win wars, and law and non-violence has done nothing to halt the horror they inflicted on the world. To even consider sparing a mote of pity for such monsters between now and their disempowerment is an insult and injury against the victims of the ongoing gazan holotaphe.

Hey Hexbear.

Eco for Humans is running a playthrough of the game Eco between November 8th and December 6th (28 days). I'd like to invite Hexbear along since it seems like the kind of game people here may be into. The EfH community runs on a strict no TRASH policy (transphobes, racists, ableists, sexists, homophobes), making server moderation safe and compatible with Hexbear.

If you haven't heard of Eco, it's a society-building game about living on a little planet and marching through the industrial revolution to shoot down an incoming asteroid as it falls out of the sky over the course of 28 days. The little planet you're living on has a fully simulated ecosystem; species may go extinct or the sea levels may rise if care isn't taken to balance economic and ecological concerns. One aspect that makes this game unique is that players can only take a limited number of production specializations (baker, shipwright, chemist, miner, farmer, etc..) meaning that players must band together to trade, or form towns and countries with their own distinct laws and cultures.

If you're interested, please join our discord. https://discord.gg/kqnGgywsh6

It's pride month and I want cishet hexbears to know we love them just as much as regular people.

Interesting video on the specific challenges faced by people with ADHD, how they create feedback loops, and how to become aware of them and tackle them. Long video which isn't exactly our strong suit, but the actual lecture is 1h08m, the rest is additional question and answer that might also be interesting. Push through the neuroscience part, it's worth it.
