What I meant is the myth that the settlements are illegal and Israel opposes them. Many zionists will try to tell you half truths that this only happens occasionally and they arrest people that break the law because Israel doesn't want to colonize the West Bank. Israel does sometimes arrest settlers, but they are tried in separate courts that favor them than the courts that Palestinians actually living on the land are tried in. Israel could control all traffic in and out of the West Bank if it wanted to and boot out armed Israelis but they never do.
