I can't imagine President Moldy Apple Core issuing even a SINGLE bad EO. That's just how good Mr. President would be.

Next you'll tell me this isn't real either.
FFT does have a lot of dialogue that deals with classism and philosophy, it's really good, and part of why edits like this use FFT so often.
The original was groundbreaking at the time, but the War of the Lions translation really took it to a new height by going for a slightly archaic, flowery phrasing.
They who hinder the path of the mighty get trampled. It's no different for nobles than for commoners, except nobles have numbskulls like yourself blindly swearing loyalty and all that rubbish! If you wish to waste your time on these pathetic loyalties of yours, you be damned! Ivalice is a harsh land; better to live with a bloodied sword in hand than die with one through the back!
~~Some might say that playing it on a PSP emulator is the best way to experience it, but such folks probably hoist the Jolly Roger~~
What have you done that did not rely on the labours of others? From birth you have wanted for nothing! You can not know what it is to live the meager life we do. Reason may trick you to believe you do, but your heart can never know! Harsh is the world in which we live. Harsher still than you can imagine. You have neither right nor reason to pour scorn on me!

Iran was Western-aligned during the Cold War. When the Shah's authoritarian regime was overthrown in 1979, Iran kept the military hardware that the US supplied the Shah with.
I believe that's an old joke from the period, though the Romanian Securitate did monitor people and phonecalls to an even greater degree than the German Stasi did.
WW1, how fun!
