I'm predicting there won't be a " getting a phone call from and dropping out" situation here because both of these fuckers are too old to achieve anything else. For Adams this is as high as he's going to get within the American machine and there's nobody that can offer them anything comprable. Similar situation for Cuomo.

It's not like Obama can call and promise one of them like, secretary of transportation with the implication that it'll be their turn to be president in 10 years. It's not a presidential election. Nobody at the gubernatorial level can offer either Cuomo or Adams anything they want because they're both psychotic strivers, one of them desperately clinging on to his current position and the other trying to claw back some relevance.

I hate to jinx it but I really do think short of some serious deportation related fuckery this election is going to be a layup for Zohran.

There is indeed much that America can learn from China. But perhaps the most important lesson is to stay true to who we are as a nation. That’s what China did. It adopted aspects of the American way that would make it strong again, while sticking to its core system of Communist Party political domination and heavy state involvement in everything. I'm honestly taken aback at this point by the amount of backlash Mamdani's been getting. I don't even think it was this bad against Bernie. Aside from his stance on the genocide (which is honestly still quite moderate compared to what's happening) what he's been saying has been really quite milquetoast socdem reforms and probably half of America are acting like he's going to do 9/11 2 on his first day in office. This is a sick sick country.
