So in high school, we had TI-84 programmable calculators. Those could be used to store text. The teachers knew about that capability, so when there was a test where we were allowed to use the calculator, they wiped the memory of each one at the start of the test. However, I found that there was an app you could install called "fake", where you could restore all your saved data after a supposed memory wipe by entering a predefined numerical code. Teachers never knew that method existed. I may or may not have used that functionality a couple times. I don't feel bad about it, as memorizing some physics formulae would have never been any use for me in my later life anyway.

Don't know if it counts as cheating, but in uni there were some professors who reused exams all the time. Some students set up a download server where you could download all previous exams and its solutions. Pretty sure the professors knew about it as well, but were still to lazy to come up with new exams I guess. So as we were allowed to bring a hand-written sheet of paper with notes (which is a way better policy than all the memorization in high school), I just had all the solutions on there.

A well-researched video for a user that asked for sources. If you’re going to assume it’s immediately incorrect because it’s a youtube video, then that says more about you than it does about me.

I haven't said anything about it being incorrect or correct. What I'm saying is that guy clearly wasn't banned for posting it. I have no strong feelings either way about the lab theory.

Also, good job avoiding giving a definitive answer to a question that should be common knowledge.

Where would you get that "common knowledge" from? Like I said, ban records aren't public.

Also worth checking out who Ken Lacorte is. A former Fox News executive who is accused of having covered up negative stories about Donald Trump before the 2016 elections.

Dunno. Bans and their reasons are not public record. But they definitely don't ban all of them. Funnily enough, you've just proven that yourself further down, by linking to a youtube video arguing for the lab theory.

Sites like Facebook and Youtube went absolutely wild with "Covid hoax" bullshit during the pandemic. Spawned an entire popular movement in my country, who went to the street protesting against the protective measures.

Is that actually happening though? Last I checked people were seemingly free to spread all kinds of Covid misinformation on social media.

Around 20km from the town I was born in. Never lived there though, so it's not really my home but definitely part of my home region. I do currently live in the village and house I grew up in, which I would consider as home.

Sonic is much less popular in Japan, where Sega is from, than in the west. So the Japanese management might not see Sonic as such an important franchise.

How inheritance works depends on the country. In my country (Germany), there is a mandatory portion of your wealth that each child will get as inheritance, no matter what the will says. Fully disinheriting your own children is only possible under some very narrow circumstances, such as the child being convicted with a felony serving more than a year of prison time.

Somehow didn't expect them to pick such a young actor for Link, even though it does correspond to Link's age in many of the games.

I'm really curious to see more of this movie. I think Zelda is a really difficult series to adapt well.

The problem with that is that all of these platforms also use the same big payment providers, meaning they're just as likely to be forced to remove these sorts of games.

I guess for inheritance reasons, it would make sense to correct my birth certificate to my biological parents. In that sense, I would feel happy, because I'd have a massive inheritance coming my way at some point. Other than that though, it wouldn't make any difference to me, I'd still feel like the parents I grew up with were the "real" ones.
